@richardschoen @stevencpitcher IBM i FTP server is not that bad beast everyone things. You just need some exit points, function usages etc. Lock it down as you can do! Do not forget internal attacks which can be run by using infected workstations.

@stevencpitcher Better yet if possible block all and only allow valid trading partner site ip addresses. Everyone is bad until proven good 😂 And perhaps don’t even use IBM i FTP server.

Last week I did my Why leaving the platform is a bad idea presentation during @CommonEurope Congress in Alicante. I was invited by a "vehicle manufacturer" to do the same for them today. I've updated the presentation with an example of a company even not existing anymore.. #ibmi

what is the use of visiting Events like #CommonEuropeCongress #CEC2022 in #Alicante ? It is not only get to know companies and products, or discuss a lot of topics in a nice location - it is to get to know a lot of people using #IBMi, talk to IBMers and have fun!
