@WallStreetApes As I see it all these things are just moving to a world where the average person can't buy them and it's all just corporate expenses which pay for them. It's the same with events I.e sports, music etc etc

Starbucks CEO defends a cup of coffee costing $9 He says the customers needs to just not think about it as a $9 cup of coffee, you’re paying for the “experience” of getting a Starbucks coffee “In some cases a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging, and then what that means is we have to make it worthwhile.” He says Starbucks customers “want to have a special experience and regardless of what your income level is, in some cases, a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging — well, this is a really affordable premium experience” How out of touch could a person possibly be…

@markgoldbridge Sell ugarte. Casemiro a new deal IF he'll take 120/150k for another season & bring in another top CM. Casemiro has been exceptional this season when getting regular breaks. If we can consistently route him IF we're in Europe next season then that'll do nice. Desperate for depth.

@MartinSLewis Martin, we're in a challenging period & the UK is currently pushing for renewables. Upgrades on listed homes need thousands just on trying to gain planning approval to do said upgrades. Surely it's time we exempt renewable upgrades from planning consent. Would you support this?

Today's spike (on the spike) in the wholesale natural gas price has seen the final few providers that offer fixed rate energy tariffs below the price cap - removing them. There's now only one left that's materially cheaper than the Cap, and I'm not sure that'll still be around by the end of the day. Of course they may return if this is short lived, but it's not good.

🚨 INCREDIBLE! Bayern Munich may have to bypass the law in order to start their 16-year-old goalkeeper! 😱🧤 Fielding Leonard Prescott (16) for the second leg against Atalanta creates a huge problem. 🥶 The club must obtain a special exemption, as German law forbids minors from working after 8pm… while the match kicks off at 9pm. 😅⏰❌ Bayern are therefore seeking approval from the government, the player’s parents, the doctor and the school in order to allow him to play tomorrow night. 🤯

Last week I called out Garnacho for the squad leak before Chelsea faced PSG. Chelsea got slapped 5–2. Now, before the return leg at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea need 3+ goals just to have a chance of penalties the squad leaks again. Same pattern. Same timing. And somehow it always happens when Garnacho isn’t starting… or isn’t in the squad at all. At United, people said the leaks were coming through him and his brother. Fans shrugged it off and said “that’s just a United problem.” Interesting. Chelsea had never been known for dressing room leaks in their history. But Garnacho arrives… and suddenly lineups start appearing online before the biggest games. Maybe it’s coincidence. But if it is, then Garnacho might be the unluckiest footballer alive, because the leaks seem to follow him like a shadow. And if it’s not coincidence? Then Chelsea might have signed more than just a winger from United. They might have signed the club Wi-Fi password too. Remember when Chelsea fans were bragging they’d taken “United’s best winger”? Congratulations. You might have also taken United’s internal newsletter. Garnacho is a snitch!!!!

Did anyone else notice how they didn’t give ANY stats on the number of child deaths caused from SUV drivers? This is a made-up tax because the TFL are broke and need money. The roads are all 20mph, there’s ZERO safety concern. On top of that, we already pay £12.50 ULEZ fee and £18 congestion charge. And now another tax? Meanwhile, Sadiq is chauffeured around in a taxpayer-funded armoured Range Rover, one of the biggest SUV’s of them all. Rules for thee, not for he!
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan@MayorofLondon

Children hit by an SUV when walking and cycling have a 77% higher chance of being killed than when hit by a smaller passenger car. That rises to 209% more chance of being killed by an SUV for kids under the age of nine. That's why I've asked @TfL to do more research on the growing impact of supersized SUVs in our city.

@jruddy99 But you create jobs, the government makes money on each barrel sold & you're also adding to the supply chain which helps. In no way is it a long term solution - it could even contribute to the transition of renewables & potentially get us there quicker by doing so. Tax it high.

If we drilled for every single one of those 7.5 billion barrels today, they would all be sold for $100 each - because that is the international market price. There is no guarantee a single drop would even reach the UK's petrol forecourts.
Ben Graham@BenGrahamUK

Today oil is sitting at $100 a barrel. North Sea = 7.5 billion barrels of black gold. Britain bans new licences & begs foreign regimes for energy. We are sitting on treasure and letting this opportunity slip through our hands.

🚨BREAKING: Manchester United’s planned 100,000-seat new stadium could now exceed £3B, up from the initial £2B estimate. A major delay comes from a land dispute with Freightliner, who are demanding £400M for a site United valued at £50M, potentially forcing a compulsory purchase order. Experts warn the project could take at least 10 more years, pushing completion beyond the mid-2030s, with costs possibly rising another £1B. Jim Ratcliffe’s recent comments may also complicate approvals, though the club insists the stadium will be fully privately funded. #MUFC [@TheSunFootball]

Trading 212's 4.68% cash ISA rate (new customers only, no transfers at this rate) is avail via most 3rd party sites eg comparison sites. Go direct & you won't currently get the bonus that pumps it up to 4.68%, so be careful. Rates are changing sometimes by the minute as its ISA season, so always check

🚨 INDIA RIGGED THE T20 WORLD CUP 🚨 - This is clear evidence that India rigged the T20 World Cup Final. When India was batting, the ball was coming nicely onto the bat and they kept scoring runs like it was a batting paradise. There was no swing either. - But when New Zealand came out to bat, the ball suddenly started to swing and spin, and now it has become very difficult for them to bat. This looks like clear cheating; there might be some changes with the ball or the Indian batters bats. - ICC should take strong notice of this. It is very unfair not only to New Zealand but to the entire cricketing world. 👎🏼
