Aurora borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within … the entire sky??
YES.
Incredibly, these are unedited iPhone photos from Turtle Lake, SK. My big camera is working on a time lapse video.

Gravelbough is one of a few French speaking towns in Saskatchewan. This school is now abandoned and probably will be torn down. My work was on display here a few years ago. Sad to see it finished. This photo will be in my next book coming out next year. #saskatchewan

The dugouts are frozen after a very cold night here in the extreme #swSask corner. No snow or moisture the past few days. Just a nasty wind & cold temps.
Had 1/2 inch (12 ml) of rain overnight. Got rid of most of the snow here in the corner of #swSask. Irrigation season doesn’t start for another month but some of the irrigation ditches were running melt water!
From March 20-23, we received 20-25 cm (10-12 inches) of snow. Has been a slow melt but getting some runoff in the extreme corner of #swSask. Also saw a snowy owl today. Rather late for them!
