Muscovites took to the streets in protest after yesterday’s attack!
But don't expect any unrest. The protest was directed against... the United Kingdom.
The signs read: “Britain spreads death,” “Britain is a sponsor of Ukrainian terrorism,” and “Enemies of Russia — get out of the country.”
It seems the search for someone to blame has once again led anywhere but the Kremlin.

@LauraLoomer Imagine Russia had handed out nukes to Georgia and Armenia... I mean those things could never backfire, right?
English

Aleksandr Dugin, the Russian ideologue who supplies the intellectual justification for Putin's worldview, said on camera that Russia will distribute nuclear and strategic weapons to ANYONE willing to use them against the West and the United States.
This is the same Dugin who has been boosting Americans like Candace Owens @RealCandaceO, Megyn Kelly @megynkelly, Nick Fuentes @NickJFuentes, and Tucker @TuckerCarlson even flew to Russia to interview him.
Meanwhile, Russian state media RT @RT_com has turned its feed into wall-to-wall coverage of Woke Reich podcast clips, which makes no sense for a foreign outlet whose purpose is supposedly to cover Russian news directed by the Kremlin.
This is exactly the kind of coordinated foreign influence that should be INVESTIGATED, and too many in the GOP would rather stay complicit than say a word about it as they pander to the worst people in our society.

@slantchev One gets the impression that even the members of the administration's inner sanctum don't talk together very often. Must be like the Obersalzberg, where all visitors loathed each other.

These shitheads have normalized incompetence to the point that the VP who was about to fly out to negotiate with Iran doesn’t fucking know something as basic as this and it’s not even embarrassed to say it. Absolute retards.

@AndrewCurran_ If there's any chance of the Chinese copying whole or parts of the machine, ASML is surely not going to help them?
It's also a pretty rich accusation of a government allowing Nvidia's AI chips to be sold to China.

Wait – they painted the pool floor, the water turned green with algae, so they poured a paint removing chemical into the pool to remove the algae, and managed to remove the new paint too? 🤯

Hydrogen peroxide is used as paint remover. It will remove even a $15m paint job. Follow me for more advanced science tips.
English

@ChaosAgent_42 That has to be a pretty high concentration of H2O2 to dissolve the coating like that. More likely it wasn't fixated properly.

Last night, our long-range sanctions once again reached the Moscow region – for the second time this week, the Moscow oil refinery was hit. Targets were also struck in the Rostov region and in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This is a fully justified response to Russian attacks on our cities and communities, and another important result of our warriors’ work against facilities that sustain Russia’s war machine. I thank our Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine for their coordinated efforts – the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, Defense Intelligence, and our missile brigade for their precision.
In recent days, all of our partners have noted the precision and effectiveness of our mid-range strikes and long-range sanctions. It is time the war ended, and Russia must take the necessary steps in diplomacy.

@The_Davos_Man And there is one of a drone successfully shot down and exploding in the building underneath.

Happy Putin at a summit in Kazan, Russia.
Earlier, reports appeared that he wasn't informed about the attack on Moscow.

A new drone attack on the Moscow oil refinery in Kapotnya.
English

@BDeMayo @P_Kallioniemi And then there's this video of a (Pantsir?) gunner taking out a drone which then parks itself into the random building underneath.
English

@P_Kallioniemi I've been preaching in some chat rooms that we're gonna start to see things completely spiral out of hand soon and even I didn't think the Pantsir ring was *this* unprepared lmao

A Turkish aircraft is conducting reconnaissance over the Black Sea, reports the monitoring group "Crimean Wind".
According to the flight tracking portal Flightradar, the maritime patrol aircraft ATR 72-600 TMPA of the Turkish Navy, with the call sign MARTI04, took off from Izmit airfield and is patrolling the southern part of the Black Sea.

@swautobody @saabj35 @adamJ13924 @Tendar He also resembles Oskar Kuchera, a Russian actor. Also, one of the photo checking site found very similar image to his profile pic on a Chinese photo bank.

@ZIA16132 @CameronCorduroy Let’s put it in terms you can understand. If you go to a bar, punch a guy and he knocks you down and takes your wallet, watch, and car keys, you’re going to the laughingstock of town if you say you won because he didn’t make you grow a beard
English

@ZIA16132 @CameronCorduroy What does any of that have to do with your attempts to flip the Ayatollahs from power?
English

@CameronCorduroy We lost the war?
Oh shit!!!
When do the women of the US have to start covering their faces in public?
Do the men of the US now have to grow beards?
Do the people of the US now have to chant "Death to America"
Or???
Is there just a slight chance we didn't lose "The War"?
English

@PaulSvL @ChrisO_wiki They may be reluctant to pull the trigger while the target is already flying over the residencies. Although they could blame it on the Ukrainians, of course.
English

@ChrisO_wiki And AD systems appear to have issues locking on. This video shows it pretty clear, but in other videos you see it as well. Missiles being launched, but blowing straight past drones without doing anything. Could be a minimum range safety feature, but do Russians have that?
Liveuamap@Liveuamap
Many failed Pantsyr S interceptions attempts
English

Here's the thing: any air defence system can be saturated beyond its ability to respond, even if it's as extensive as Moscow's. The Russians are claiming to have shot down at least 170 Ukrainian drones this morning. But each shot requires a reload, and there won't be an infinite supply of missiles at hand. What we're seeing here is drones getting past batteries that are either reloading or have run out of missiles.
This tactic shouldn't surprise anyone, least of all the Russians; it's exactly what they've repeatedly been doing to Ukraine over the past few months.
Anton Gerashchenko@Gerashchenko_en
How many air defense systems were guarding Moscow?..
