@mrdoob Parse time is always bigger so for a game with alot of models, .js wont matter as the total parse time would make it par with the .wasm

Ported Google's Draco decoder to pure JavaScript. mrdoob.github.io/draco.js/ 4.3× smaller than the WASM build, byte-for-byte identical output, often faster once you factor in load, init and parse.

@SebAaltonen PlayCanvas has an editor as well, it is more like unity where you can make complex games and experiences unlike Three.js where you have to code without an editor

I quickly investigated Three.js and PlayCanvas, two web renderers/engines. I was mostly interested to find out why LLM coding agents chose Three.js, making it very popular nowadays. PlayCanvas is a framework. Owns your main loop. Three.js is a composable library. You tick it.

mind you this has happened twice. I didn't even try to reach out to them the first time this happened due to these outrageously long delays. prior to that, I was locked out of my account for two whole weeks because their system logged me out & wasn't sending SMS for 2FA.

so, I paid for an asset pack on @AssetStore. it throws an error "make sure my credit card info is correct or try another card" I tried different card, this one goes through, after a while, it takes me back to order page & I see the same error. how is this a serious company?
