Devlog about the recently added Kitty graphics protocol support to libghostty, highlighting how kept libghostty to zero runtime dependencies, how libghostty is secure by default for the protocol, and showcasing the Ghostling implementation.

@jarredsumner I think this becomes much easier to solve once we can get consistent, reproducible responses from the LLM. At that point, we can incorporate the review process directly into the original prompt.

I say this because I’m currently pushing code written by Claude in a PR, waiting for two other Claudes to review it, then for CI to run, then for Claude to address the comments and test failures it being a PR is path of least resistance but the workflow is funny

@stewones @jarredsumner @kalomaze cd into your project dir, open Claude Code, run /resume to list past sessions. Sessions are per project. Use /resume-session for your last convo globally.

@jarredsumner @kalomaze Jarred why CC still doesn’t have a command to retrieve old sessions? This would make it easier to share bug reports.

@caps_raunak The RAM issue was true until about seven months ago. Although it’s related to the LSP, the same LSP had been in use all along, so it raises the question of what actually changed. In summary, Zed ended up consuming more RAM than the VS Code setup I was running.

The biggest ReVanced update in years just released. ReVanced Manager v2 is finally here. After more than 2 years of development, the app has been completely rewritten. Key upgrades: • full rewrite using Jetpack Compose • plugin system to download APKs directly • support for multiple patch sources • automatic APK sourcing for patching • browse patches without selecting an app • simplified patching workflow • redesigned UI and improved navigation • integrated announcements for updates It now runs on ReVanced Patcher v22, enabling patches for much newer YouTube and YouTube Music versions. This update also lays the foundation for a much larger ReVanced ecosystem going forward.

@jarredsumner @jarredsumner Any tips for reducing the size of a Bun binary? My bundled JS is only 2.1MB, but the compiled binary is about 101MB. I used the `--production` flag and set the target to `bun`, yet it’s still quite large.

In the next version of Bun Bun's bundler & frontend dev server gets automatic barrel-file optimization. This makes libraries like `lucida-react` build up to 2x faster

@T3chFalcon Bold of you to assume the vpn doesn't see the same traffic, you are trying to hide from your ISP

"YOUR ISP CAN SEE YOUR TRAFFIC, USE A VPN" What they actually mean: Yes — your ISP sees: Every domain you visit (e.g. twitter[.]com) How much data you're sending/receiving Your real IP address Timing & patterns (can figure out habits even without content) sold/used for ads/profiling. But NO — with HTTPS: They CANNOT see exact page (/login vs /profile), passwords, messages, or content inside encrypted connections. VPN fixes the domain/IP visibility by routing everything through their encrypted tunnel (ISP only sees Proton's server IP). But now you trust Proton instead (no-logs audited is good, but still a shift). HTTPS protects content. VPN protects metadata + location.

Cursor's excessive memory consumption was freezing M4 Pro regularly. Ditched it for a lighter setup: Neovim, Ghostty, Claude Code, and Lazygit as my new daily driver Always tried to toggle between them frequently, but permanently moving with this.
