Kashim Shettima joined politics from the private sector. He worked with Zenith Bank and United Bank for Africa before transitioning to politics. His time as Borno governor (2011–2019) coincided with the peak of Boko Haram violence in the North. The Chibok girls’ abduction happened under his watch. He is currently the vice president of Nigeria, I won't say much because you already know. Performance in Nigeria politics depends heavily on the system, not just personal competence. Our political cycle is rooted in doom.
Aminu Dalhat@AminuDalhat

Good and hardworking people from the private sector need to join politics. Politics is too important to be left for mediocrity.

The PHP internals team has voted 38-4 to deprecate all OOP constructs in PHP 9.0. The reason: LLMs produce 34% fewer errors on procedural codebases. SOLID principles cause context overload in 78% of tested models. `__construct()` is the #1 source of LLM hallucinations in PHP. #laravel and #symfony are assessing the impact on their roadmaps. WordPress is already compatible. How are you preparing your codebase? #php #oop #ai #llm

Oil and Gas is about to become the dominant industry in Nigeria once again. The tech era is fading, even though tech will be a very strong contributor

I still can't believe that about a year ago someone quoted me $67,000 to build a new website for the @MtScholarships And to think that I was even trying to negotiate it.

This whole @elrufai situation is funny. I can just imagine Mallam walking into that court full of confidence, it's been three years he left office, nothing has changed and all the infrastructure still traces back to his tenure.

Nigerian fintechs are all fighting the same fraud patterns independently, duplicating effort, and losing. The fraudsters share playbooks openly; the defenders don’t. Sad.

@Akintola_steve As someone focused on backend development, I still find it valuable to see the UI. There’s a mental and architectural clarity that comes from observing the design, it actually makes things easier and reduces stress.

Do you mean there are backend devs who work without Figma designs while building?

OSINT: This bandit named Auutadawa, in the first frame showed a location likely to be in North Central with his colleagues, then the frame 2 video showed he has been presented with a new bike from the victims family, and interesting catch was the two victim seems to be in background of the video as seen one of them limping. In the third video it shows ransom payment received ranging to millions of naira. It is important security agencies keep track of these things.
