@MastermediaIntl I saw “Jaws” with my family in 1975 at a theatre in Oak Bluffs, MA (Martha’s Vineyard, where it was filmed). Imagine how crazy that was! I did not know the Lord then, but four years later, He changed my game. Indeed, today, 4/1, is my 47th re-birthday! See 1. Cor, 4:10.

What does the movie “Jaws” have in common with the resurrection of Jesus? You might be surprised! Please enjoy this message from our CEO, Dan Rupple, and be sure to share with a friend. ❤️

@ClayTravis It just goes to show that even college athletes can have their heads up their butts when it comes to situational awareness. All the Duke kid had to do was hold the ball and get fouled. After this, I’m less upset about what I saw at my grandson’s little league game yesterday…

One of the most incredible endings in NCAA tourney history. Duke is up two with the ball and ten seconds left on the inbounds. Pure madness.

@MM_MBB_TV I know it’s part of the multi-network deal, but the #FinalFour should be on CBS, the broadcast outlet. Yes, even without cable, you can stream TBS, but there is still a percentage of viewers who use antennas only. Any championship game in any sport needs to be on broadcast.

Well, that’s unfortunate. The national anthem singer on the nationally-televised Mets’ opening day, a Tony Award winner, one Chris Jackson, forgot the words.

@BaseballQuotes1 My feeling is that the most forgotten home run ever was Alfonso Soriano’s blast in the top of the 8th in G7 of the 2001 Series. If that 2-1 lead had held, Soriano gets a plaque in Monument Park. But because Torre brought the infield in bottom 9, nobody remembers it.

As March Madness begins tonight, we embark on the annual game of “Where the Hell is TruTV on My Lineup, Anyway?” As the universe of cable subscribers dwindles, however, the number of Americans playing along sinks to new lows. Too bad for them…

@JonnyRoot_ It just proves the old baseball adage that good pitching beats good hitting. Ask the Red Sox about Cam Schlittler.

Team USA couldn’t hit a beach ball right now… This could turn out to be a massive disappointment. Two more opportunities 🤞

@BoSnerdley I had the profound honor to meet Rush once at the AT&T golf tournament, on the Spyglass Hill course, between holes. I yelled to him, “God bless you, Rush!” for which he thanked me. I’ll next see him between holes on the heavenly course (where there will be no swearing!).

@megbasham My sister in Christ, I continue to pray for you each night. I hope that the Lord is tiring of hearing about your lymph nodes, and like it was with the persistent widow, He will grant my request for your full and complete healing. Jesus’ blood never failed us yet!!

So, a little transparent talk. Part of the way I have dealt with cancer is by trying not to slow down on the work front. Brian and I talk with my doctors a lot, and it’s become a running joke between us all that they tell me how long I need to sit out after surgery and what not, and I negotiate with them how much wiggle room is in those orders. And I’m trying to come to terms with the fact that I know that part of the reason I’m doing that is because if I’m busy, I’m not thinking about cancer. If I have a speech to write, then I’m not researching cancer. If I’m giving an interview on some political fight, then I’m not talking about cancer. And Brian and I are praying our way through this, trying to discern what is healthy confidence in the Lord that is telling me just to keep going forward without worrying, (because who by worrying can destroy a single cancer cell? That’s God’s department, not mine.) And how much of it is not confronting fears and grief I don’t want to confront. And I say all this to say, I don’t know what’s motivating Erika Kirk in her seemingly tireless effort to carry on Charlie’s work. I don’t know if this is a way that she is dealing with her grief just as I am dealing with my fear, trying to stay too busy to leave margins for thinking about it. I don’t know if God would have her handling things differently. That is between her and God. Who am I to judge another’s servant? But I know this. It would be crushing to me if people were just out there saying abominable things like I’m a psychopath because I’m dealing with my fear in a different way than they would. It is absolutely heartless to render these judgments on someone you don’t know who has endured what she has endured based on nothing but your feelings.

I watched the TPUSA halftime show on TBN, which carried it. I’m not much of a country music fan, but I appreciated the tone of the songs. And if you were tuning in to hear Kid Rock as the “headliner,” which I wasn’t, you had to be disappointed. But I supported the effort. My main complaint is that it ran long. The game had resumed before they got to the last song. I watched it live, but switched to the game when I was told the second-half kickoff had happened. I had also recorded TPUSA, and watched the end of it post-game. I fear that the last song, which was God-affirming and honored Charlie, was not seen by people who went back to the game. They should have cut two of the country songs to make their show fit the actual halftime. Still, I’m glad I watched it instead of the NFL-produced show.
