I just received my pension contribution for June and I'm here thinking. Pension contributions should not be completely locked out until retirement. If someone has built up millions of naira in a pension account, there should be a provision that allows contributors to withdraw or use a part of their pension for major investments such as buying a house, purchasing land, or even acquiring a car. Even if means making the purchase directly with the company. More like a B2B partnership to serve contributors. While retirement savings should be protected, there should also be enough flexibility to meet important financial needs before retirement. It is who is alive that will enjoy dividends of retirement fund.

I love this question so much because it was the first question my zonal head asked me on how would i sell insurance to northerners. I told her “ i always find a way” which i did And at a time i topped the chart in performance. Everything boils down to strategy, you have to try different strategies until you get the ones that actually get them to your books.

The most difficult marketing job you can take is insurance sales. Others you are giving them value for their money immediately insurance you are only giving them “a promise”. The average Nigeria brain doesn’t function on “promises” they believe in immediate value. They need to see the importance of the insurance cover before they decide to pay premiums on it. Abuja is gradually becoming something else. Last night, my brother was attacked in Wuse 2, around Polaminus Restaurant, near the junction before Wuse Market. He was simply walking along the roadside, looking for a ride, when some boys ambushed him, stabbed him in three different places, and robbed him of his iPhone and other belongings. What is even more disturbing is that there were people around, yet no one came to his aid while the attack was happening. Let me help you understand. First of all, the claim that Arabic is a totally alien language to Jews and Christians is historically illiterate. Arabic, Hebrew, and Aramaic (the language of Jesus) are sister languages that belong to the Semitic language family. They share the same root structures, grammatical frameworks, and theological vocabulary. For instance, the Hebrew word for God is Elohim. The Aramaic word is Allaha. The Arabic word is Allah. Therefore, to a 7th-century Jewish or Christian population living in the Near East, Arabic was not a bizarre, unrecognizable tongue from the outer space. It was a closely related linguistic cousin. Secondly, you asked why God would send a final revelation in Arabic if it was meant to correct previous scriptures. Well, I have a response for you from the Quran. The Quran answers this directly by stating the universal law of how guidance is delivered: وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ "And We sent not a messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make things clear for them." (Surah Ibrahim, 14:4) Why is it so? Just like prophet Isa (Jesus) (peace be upon him), every messenger must be born into a specific geographic location and speak the native language of the immediate community around him. If the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born in Mecca to an Arab audience, it would be completely irrational for the revelation to descend in Hebrew or Greek. The first audience must understand the message perfectly so they can document it, preserve it, and then transmit it to the rest of the world. Maybe you may not know, but I see that you assume the Jews and Christians of that era were living in isolated European pockets and had to suddenly learn Arabic through a textbook. Naa! In reality, major Jewish and Christian populations lived right inside the Arabian Peninsula and across the Levant. The Jewish tribes of Medina spoke and wrote Arabic as their primary language. They did not face a language barrier. For instance, when the Prophet arrived in Medina, prominent Jewish scholars recognized the theological corrections immediately because they understood the text. A prime historical example is Abdullah ibn Salam, the chief rabbi of Medina and a master of the Torah. When he heard the Prophet speak, he recognized the truth of the message and accepted Islam on the spot. He did not need to learn a new language; he just needed to look at the theological coherence of the message. Again, your argument that Christians and Jews must learn an entirely new language just to see how the scriptures were fixed is pointed to the fact that you are still a minor in this propaganda work. The core theological corrections brought by Islam are straightforward and do not require a degree in classical Arabic linguistics to comprehend. Islam corrected specific, monumental theological deviations: 1) It rejected the concept of the Trinity and returned to pure, uncompromised monotheism. 2) It cleared the names of previous prophets from the moral slander attributed to them in older texts (such as the stories of David and Lot). 3) It established that salvation is based on faith and righteous deeds, rather than genetic lineage or a divine sacrifice. These concepts have been translated, discussed, and debated in Greek, Latin, Syriac, and Hebrew for over a thousand years. Millions of Jews and Christians over centuries understood these corrections perfectly through translation and dialogue, which is precisely why millions of them in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Persia voluntarily accepted Islam within the first few generations. You still have more work to do o 😅 Allah knows best.

Someone needs to collate all the debate material, audio/video between Muhammad Yusuf, the founder of BH, and Clerics like the Late Sheikh Idris Dutsen Tanshi, Mallam Isah Ali Pantami…etc and lectures by Late Albani Zaria, Late Sheikh Ja’afar…etc. There is a treasure trove of information that could provide clarity into the ideological dogma of BH/ISWAP/Ansaru…etc, and would put things into clear academic perspective preserved for the future so as to enable horizon scanners, to build resilience against what could come in the future. 70% of those that call themselves Hausa have Fulani blood in them in states like Kano, Kaduna and Katsina mainly due to extensive intermarriages. This is the reason the term Hausa-Fulani was created. In state like Borno, Adamawa, Gombe Bauchi, Taraba etc you get pure Fulani . Hausa is now a Lingua Franca 90% of it's speakers are not genetically Hausa. Hausa have atleast 150M speakers in the world but less than 15M are ethnic Hausa So those thinking that they can use propaganda to separate Hausa and Fulani especially in north west are embarking on a futile work.

Just came across a stupid take from some stupid people talking about cutting ties with Fulani. My wife is purely Fulani, she even speaks Fulani more than Hausa or English. Show me a tribe that doesn’t have bad people in it.
