Pet peeve at my job: the amount of AI writing. Folks are generating messages, documents, presentations with Claude, with all the usual nonsense ("No fluff. Just facts.") I know I should focus on the message, but seeing the AI tells make me lose confidence in quality.

@sadsciencee lol yea I could see the redundancy getting gnarly at a very tech-oriented large co (everyone wants to make a thing) we have something coming soon ™️ that solves a good chunk of this. boils down to discoverability & composability of the generated code & apps.

@nilslice def & that stuff is evolving naturally where i work some of the vibe coded apps end up getting widespread usage bc the tool creators have such deep domain knowledge that the tools are useful even if buggy problem is we now have like 80 bespoke kanbans with denormalized data lol

@sadsciencee you can’t just “vibe code” the thing. You need a home for this class of software. connectivity, security, auth, collaboration, agent use etc.

this may break some assumptions i hold. three other engineers (all capable with ai) attempted this same task but in typescript and failed lots of variables, but interesting outcome!

Gave my agent a task, but deleted all the typechecking and linting setup first. Told him to do it in plain JS. Just some E2E tests to guide. Never before have I seen him run so free 🥹 Bounding around, unshackled. No wheels spinning. Barely burning tokens. Just. Free. 🐶
