The path to a multi-party system in Somalia is underway. Now is the time to form a party or partner with one, rather than raising questions once everything is established. If you do not align with the ruling party, there will certainly be other parties. Consensus should not merely satisfy one person, especially those not committed to democracy, like Ahmed Madoobe, but should focus on practicing true democracy. Let the people exercise their right to vote in this new chapter of Somali history.
