@Cobratate When I read the Quran years ago it said in Surah 3:54 Allah is the best of deceivers. It surprised me, I thought, why would God be a deceiver ?
Then later I got told it was changed to the best of schemers..then to best of plotters...
Now it's the best of planners.

@iamjayshaquile @Cobratate I’m not really in a position to argue this with you, but honestly I’d suggest going for a mat that doesn’t have any text inscriptions or drawings of any buildings - just to be safe. You would have to ask scholars about this issue in order to confirm, but this is my take.

@saeedmaoo @Cobratate Yeah i wouldn’t put a Quran on the floor but if you place a Quran on the Quran stand like we have at the mosque and then on the floor then it’s still very close to the floor which is the same argument with the mat, it’s close to the floor but on the mat.

@iamjayshaquile @Cobratate I don’t like the putting pics of the Kaaba on the floor as well, but I think the Quranic verses should be treated as you would treat an actual Quran. You wouldn’t leave the Quran on the floor right?

@saeedmaoo @Cobratate My understanding is that it’s not literally on the ground and if that is so then the picture of Kaabah on the mat is also wrong but most mats has a picture of the Kaabah. I am not saying you are wrong btw.
