COMPLAINT FILED TO RETRIEVE KADDU!! Rakhi, the primary complainant, along with Ms. Yogita Bhayana, Dr. Asher Jesudoss (from the Delhi Animal Welfare Board), and four other volunteers, met with the Investigating Officer (I.O.) and the Station House Officer (SHO) at the IGI Police Station. The following key demands were presented: 1. @DelhiAirportGMR and the contractor, JK Contract, must identify the staff involved and reveal Kaddu’s current whereabouts so she can be located, brought back immediately, and given proper medical examination. 2. CCTV footage from the MLCP Building (Terminal 3), along with footage from connected cameras, must be secured and thoroughly reviewed. 3. Clear information must be provided regarding the legal sections being applied, with reference to the ABC Rules 2023 and existing animal cruelty laws. The SHO has assured the following: 1. All relevant CCTV footage will be preserved and examined 2. The staff involved will be identified, questioned, and appropriate action will be taken as per the law 3. Faridabad violence An animal rescue team were brutally attacked when they went to rescue a dog who had been beaten by a drunkard and needed treatment urgently. Indian news has been actively promoting animal cruelty Today at Dayal Singh College, Delhi the @MCD_Delhi forcefully and brutally dragged community dogs with tongs which has been forbidden in ABC rules and only nets should be used as per the guidelines yet as usual the MCD decided to choose cruelty. The dogs were living peacefully without any incidents and thankfully the faculty and students stopped the barbarity yet the dogs were severely injured A @timesofindia columinst enjoyed the cruelty and called it as "good riddance" A few days ago a Delhi couple made the headlines that they feed 400 dogs daily in Ghazipur dump and have sterilized and vaccinated them, a @ndtv journalist @GargiRawat tweeted that feeding dogs is wrong and that if dogs are not fed they'll vanish and she completely missed the fact that the couple had also vaccinated and sterilized the dogs which ideally the @MCD_Delhi should had done Another incident took place on 14th March where the media spread a case of a boy barking in Mirzapur and media diagnosed it as rabies (which actually was a case of inversion syndrome) and it spread like a wildlife and many resorted to the streets killing dogs as far away as telangana and later the boy was diagnosed with inversion syndrome and was not infected with rabies Rabies can only be determined by post mortem and without any medical proofs the media spreads anything related to dogs as rabies and causes mass cullings In other nations people give dogs food and water and in India dogs have become the source of livelihood for many including the media
