🚨Utah's No. 1 Water Hoarding City is Salt Lake City.
Salt Lake City hoards an amount of water equal to 5 Deer Creeks (500,000 acre-feet – 163 Billion Gallons.)
SLC's 2024 reported metered water sales was 78,000 acre-feet (25.4 Billion gallons). 40,000 acre-feet was residential with 2/3 for outdoor water (26,640 acre-feet for lawns.)
The State granted sewer reuse water rights to all cities, because indoor water is 99% return flow. If SLC utilized its sewer effluent wisely, its total metered wet water demand would drop to 51,000 acre-feet.
Salt Lake City owns 61,700 of stored water in Deer Creek. It does not need the canyon water and not 273,000 acre-feet of well water it hoards.
🚩The State Engineer needs to crack down on water hoarding cities, end its water war against farmers consuming 3% of Utah's water.

This is a real issue for Republicans. Utah's No. 2 Water Hoarder is Salt Lake City. SLC has weaponized drinking water. If SLC, a self regulated $ Billion Public Utility, does not like your politics, your land use, your business, your hair color, then no drinking water for you.

Housing prices are based on supply vs demand.
This map shows NH has one of the biggest drops in inventory, down 54% on listings from 2019 levels.
State legislature has passed some bills to cut regulations to make it easier to increase supplies, including more ADUs.
High mortgage rates and high property taxes in NH also affect housing affordability.

This Colorado law is insane and unconstitutional.

Colorado is now requiring lawyers in the State, as a condition of logging into its court e-filing system, to promise not to cooperate with federal authorities in enforcing federal immigration law. Please understand: - I do not practice immigration law. - I do not practice criminal law. - Nothing about my civil practice has anything to do with this. And yet because I cannot log into the State's official e-filing system without saluting The Resistance, I now cannot represent my clients, file lawsuits, access cases, file documents in existing cases, etc. If I click "Decline," it kicks me out of the system. I must click "Accept" to access the system and continue representing my civil clients -- again, in cases that have absolutely nothing to do with immigration law or policy. I've read SB 25-276 (the law referred to below). It does not regulate me as a private attorney or any of the clients I represent in civil matters. This is outrageous draconian overreach. I have ethical obligations to my clients to represent them competently. My existing cases have running deadlines that I must attend to. Judges issue orders in my cases that I must follow. If I don't click "Accept" in order to access the State's e-filing system, I will harm my clients, torpedo my practice, and probably commit malpractice. So, I have no choice. I'm clicking "Accept" under protest.

It's a mission specific takedown AR15 variant with a 12.5'' 5.56 barrel, MLOK rail with QD lever, MBUS Pro sights, folding grip, and 4x 30 round magazines that are stored under the ejection seat.
