Roman Polak once told me he felt way more pressure playing in St. Louis than he did in Toronto because of the daily expectations put on the team from management and ownership to win. We didn't get into it on the show today but I appreciate the well-wishes.
Long story short, it's likely an ulcer sent me to the ER Monday night. They took great care of me. I'm clear of anything else scary. Maybe we'll get into it Friday. I'm on the mend. All is well!

Likely a grade 2 MCL injury and a 4-6 week timeline from the day of injury (it’s already been 1 week since the injury so 3-5 more weeks)

This does feel like a greater generational divide than anything I spotted while in university, or grinding it out in my 20s. Great insight here. If you asked me about two things from banging on the doors & being in front of my community, PLUS being on the radio 5x a week - what does Gen Z think that the boomers don't:
1. They're not falling for the idea that everything about our sagging economy can be hung on Donald Trump & tariffs. We're in bigger trouble because governments were utterly inattentive to what he campaigned on, sure, totally. But we were in the muck no matter who the US President is/was.
2. The generation that asks the most questions & has the most to lose re: a warming planet.....are telling us squarely there are far more important things to focus on, & they don't want money or taxes squandered on attempting to control the temperature when infrastructure strain, energy insecurity, & a brutally stagnant economy are staring them in the face for the entirety of their young adulthood.
The kids are right on these issues, & that's final. :)

What are the top perceived issues facing Canada? The rising cost of living dominates the national agenda, far ahead of every other issue, followed by concerns about the economy and healthcare. Younger and older Canadians look at this list very differently. Those under 30 put far more weight on job security, housing, inequality and immigration, while climate change sits close behind. Older Canadians focus more on the economy, healthcare and the risks they associate with Donald Trump’s administration. The gap between generations is wide and reflects two different lived experiences. Younger adults feel squeezed by affordability and opportunity. Older adults worry more about stability and external threats. This divide explains a lot of #cdnpoli at the moment.
