I am very puzzled two days later why Mets fans are still so protective over David Wright being nicknamed Captain America over Aaron Judge. Wright had a worse WBC as captain than Judge and certainly didn’t get to the Final like Judge. Lastly Captain America is a comic book hero.

3/12/2003 Mike Piazza charges the mound after getting hit with a Guillermo Mota pitch. The two were involved in a similar incident in spring 2002 when Piazza grabbed Mota by the collar following a hit by pitch. Both players were later fined and suspended.
