Israel’s ground counteroffensive in Gaza began on October 27, 2023 (and even then, it doesn’t constitute genocide, but lying also requires some skill, not that it’s likely to stop the Mamdanis from continuing to spread falsehoods). What makes me saddest is that this has become an important issue in the New York City mayoral election. I hope Mamdani’s focus will be on all of his constituents, and I truly wish the people of New York the best.
