About a year ago a local software company bid me $100k - $150k to create custom manufacturing software for my wheelchair factory. Fast forward a year - they still aren't finished with the original scope of work - and now want an *additional* $100k because *they* went over budget. I've already paid $150k. What would you do in this situation?

Every piece of desktop software was eventually replaced by a multiplayer / collaborative version of itself. The same will happen with AI tools, but now some of the players aren’t going to be humans.

Consider this a warning: chatGPT just unlocked an Excel workbook for me. I had spent 3 hours trying to guess the forgotten password, did the .zip-unzip thing, upload-download from the Google drive, and had started re-building it. Decided to try asking gpt for help at the last minute... 10 seconds later:

Something I didn’t learn until later in life is that you don’t need to cook 15 cloves of garlic into your food to make something taste garlicky. Garlic looses its impact the more you cook it. 2-3 cloves, added close to the end of the cook time, will blow your socks off.
