😏🇺🇸 Cute line… but let’s keep history straight.
America didn’t just “help” — we SAVED Europe in WWII. Without U.S. power, sacrifice, and leadership, the outcome looks VERY different. That’s not a joke, that’s reality.
King Charles can get a laugh, sure — but millions of Americans didn’t fight and die so Europe could pretend it was a tie game. Respect where it’s due.

@RobShaw_BC @VaughnPalmer @Dave_Eby Not the worst investment if he can change things down there. Probably spend that amount in 30 mins down there between services, policing, etc, etc

We're investing $104 million over the next four years to improve roads and sidewalks across Vancouver.
This will allow for the complete upgrade of 15 to 20 arterial corridors, 800 blocks of local roads, and 28km of sidewalks.
The funds represent a ‘Maximum Delivery Capacity’ scenario and a 204% increase over the previous administration’s $34 million allocation.
This move is just one of the ways we’re focusing on the core services Vancouverites rely on every day.

A 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit Hualien City in Taiwan, and there have been reports that at least nine people have died, more than 900 others are injured, and over 100 buildings have been damaged.🤔🧐
A previous guest on the show, Eric Hecker, blows the whistle on an ice cube neutrino detector located in South Pole. Eric goes on to talk about the numerous capabilities this technology has from it being able to listen and transmit.
"It's the world's largest telescope."
Eric shares how it's also the world's largest directed energy weapon and is responsible for the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2011.
What are your thought's on the latest earthquake that impacted Hualien City in Taiwan?

@torontobaghead If Mcjesus had Hedman, Stamkos, Vasilevsky, etc by his side the story would be different.

Nikita Kucherov is what Connor McDavid was supposed to be: the best player in the league who shows up in big games and wins multiple Stanley Cups.

He’s quite literally, completely fucking delusional.
What a fucking loser. And anyone who subscribes to this is a far bigger loser than he is.
And judging by this clip, that’s next to impossible. Jesus.

@PasqualeSasso @wuthrook44 Also a decline in people clogging up hospitals and jacking up rents. This is what we need to catch up. This won’t last forever.
English

@wuthrook44 That’s part of it, but it doesn’t invalidate the point.
A decline in non permanent residents is still a decline in people living, working, and spending in the province, and they were not replaced. That has real economic consequences.

"Over the course of the entire 2025, B.C. lost over 41,000 people (roughly the same size as the population of Mission, B.C.)"
When the exodus is measured in town-sized numbers, something’s broken.

@BenRabidoux Is this a bad thing? Services and housing need to catch up. Call it a win!

@OMB13 @worldhockeyrpt Actually the tweet I responded to wasn’t the Whitney tweet….as you can clearly see
English

@salmonidae16 @worldhockeyrpt Actually the original tweet was Whitney’s comment was about hosting games for the World Cup of Hockey not a U20 tournament. The response said any tournament. They aren’t even comparable and my nationality has nothing to do with it but go off.
English

It would be so electric if USA held an international hockey event……

Ryan Whitney@ryanwhitney6
Like all hockey fans I’m fired up for the World Cup of Hockey to return but after winning the gold medal in EVERYTHING it’s insane to me no games will be played in the United States of America
English

@OMB13 @worldhockeyrpt Your American is showing….also the original tweet spoke of an international tournament.
English

@salmonidae16 @worldhockeyrpt In fairness, WJC is nothing compared to a 4 nations or best on best tourney. Sad reality is nobody cares much about U20.
