@MartyOUFC This is on the Gov website, says they can request one for simply *thinking* you’ve been drinking. In other words, they need absolutely no proof or even evidence. Stopping people and requesting samples for no reason? All sounds very police-statey to me!

Katie Price shouldn’t even be in court today. Alcohol consumption effects everyone differently and at different speeds due to a number of factors. Having an arbitrary threshold based on no proof (particularly one so low) is illogical.

@tfgwrites @Lyndagee49 @nazirafzal Why are you so scared of other humans? Why choose to put yourself through that emotional torment? Chill!

“They filmed many acts of cruelty, added soundtracks & sent them to friends” Scum of the earth & I include the friends who did nothing If you cut resources, more failure, more “lessons will be learned” & more children like Star Hobson will be harmed or die theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/d…

@sam25813835 @ellellellellel4 She, err, crashed the car whilst under the influence of alcohol (which destroys your entire argument), and she was disqualified from driving anyway which is a crime in itself.

@StevieSunshine1 @Jaymate93 Why must the state control everything we do? People constantly drink and drive but are rarely caught, because most of us can still drive well.

@sam25813835 @Jaymate93 Why? Surely you can understand that if you leave it to people to decide how 'drunk' they are, it will just cause more accidents (and likely deaths). Currently there is a range of punishments that act as a relatively effective deterrent.

@tfgwrites @Lyndagee49 @nazirafzal And that’s the point. It isn’t for the government, or you, to decide how much value an individual’s life holds - we all hold the same value. Why choose to live in fear of people’s past?

@tfgwrites @Lyndagee49 @nazirafzal The state will unfortunately always exist, but it should have as little involvement in our lives as possible. Can you name one thing you do that isn’t regulated (or in other words, controlled) in some way by the government or government agencies? No, me neither!

@tfgwrites @Lyndagee49 @nazirafzal The police can track you at all times using phones, vehicles etc. They can also take said vehicle from you. That phone they can use to track you? Yeah, they can take that too That house you own? Ah yes, they can break into that as well So much for private property & freedom…

@sam25813835 @Jaymate93 You can measure how much someone has had to drink, currently there is no test for tiredness. There probably will be in future. I'm not sure fighting for allowing drink driving is a hill you want to die on.

@tfgwrites @Lyndagee49 @nazirafzal Why would you want the state controlling you? Modern Britain is not a free country - its a police state.

@tfgwrites @Lyndagee49 @nazirafzal I choose to live my life using practicality & long term thinking to form my opinions, and to also not be angry or fearful of people who have done things in the past I don’t agree with. It’s a very refreshing mindset, you should try it!

@tfgwrites @Lyndagee49 @nazirafzal You can empathise & feel emotion without using that emotion to form your opinion, while ignoring all practicality. Out of interest, most of us have been in a fight at some point. Are you always in fear of people hitting you because they did it before? That seems to be your logic

Glad Katie Price wasn’t imprisoned. No one should be for such ‘offences’.

@timbo633 @HartJ11524799 @Jenniferlangan1 So you believe every law is correct, simply because it’s the law? Blimey, no wonder governments can do whatever they like, you want them involved in everything!
