About that $1.7 billion Obama gave to Iran being "their own money"... 1) The $400 million was a deposit from Iran to the Pentagon Foreign Military Sales account. 2) The US filed an $817 million counterclaim against Iran for violations of the FMS terms. 3) A law signed by Bill Clinton prohibited the money from being returned to Iran until damages were finalized for Iranian terrorist acts against US citizens.
