@KppRPCV The devastation in areas we work really is overwhelming. E.g. over 50 deaths in Ankarimbelo municipality alone & over 400 houses destroyed in just 3 of its villages! Roads cut, fields underwater, majority of schools without rroves/walls... help is urgently needed.

@pauljournalism Unfortunately it's getting bad. Major water crisis 2nd year in a row now. People going to as drastic measures as driving 1 hour to Ranomafana to fetch water!!

Matsiatra River nearly dry. Emergency situation in current dry season in #Fianarantsoa where water levels critical & majority of urban population struggling to find enough water to drink & cook with, let alone wash.
