Arkansas is the perfect example of the SEC illusion of depth. They’re SUPER competitive in nearly every game against top SEC teams, so that shows how deep the SEC is!

Multiple positives in here for me. Obviously I don't want the Grizzlies to leave Memphis. Also, the stupid idea of playing a few games in Nashville to be "Tennessee's Team" reinforces how Silver is the WORST COMMISSIONER IN PROFESSIONAL SPORTS

If Memphis as a city didn’t have to battle the state of TN’s republican led legislature, I promise Memphis would see real progress. Memphis is treated like the unwanted stepchild due its majority black demographic and its history of voting blue.

I lived in Nashville prior to what it is now working at the State Capitol. Nashville is what it is because they withhold funding from West TN. Memphis was the largest city in the state out pacing Nashville, Murfreesboro Chattanooga, Knoxville. That was a problem

Because they didn’t want the expressway cutting through the zoo for a continuous road. The distribution capital of the world landlocked no the politicians negotiate bad faith deals so companies circumvent away from the city with their businesses.

@StevoSports87 @Clayd28 Memphis is landlocked and doesn’t have a major interstate through town. Those two things really hurt the city. For the record I have lived many years in both cities. The argument that the city of Nashville somehow controls state funding is lazy.
