@SteveIrvine04 I know I am biased bc I was raised on UAB being the school of vision - so I'm no fan of benchmarking AAC schools. We should endeavor to match the funding in the conferences ahead of us. UAB should be aspirational and not seek out the middle of anything - that is path to growth.

Don't think this is a secret but if UAB's administration doesn't fix the basketball finances then things won't get better. UAB athletics was built on basketball and the program needs to be in the upper half of NIL $$$ in the conference. Just my opinion.
