Strategy has acquired 24,869 BTC for ~$2.01 billion at ~$80,985 per bitcoin and has achieved BTC Yield of 12.6% YTD 2026. As of 5/17/2026, we hodl 843,738 $BTC acquired for ~$63.87 billion at ~$75,700 per bitcoin. $MSTR $STRC strategy.com/press/strategy…

@d_1awrence It’s almost like the four year cycle and the 200 day moving average continue to matter and everybody else doesn’t understand that
English

I have to be honest....
After all the positive news this week with the Clarity Act mark up being approved, Strive announcing that $SATA is paying daily dividends, $STRC producing enough volume to buy at least 10,000 BTC PLUS $MSTR settling $1.5B of their convertible debt, I expected to see a better reaction to Bitcoin than being DOWN 4% in the last 5 days.
It literally makes no sense. Like, how did we reach $126k when there wasn't half the bullish news there is today?
I understand there were mass OG sellers last year.
I understand Jane Street was manipulating the price for months.
I also understand there's a war in Iran.
What I dont understand is how a company like Intel is up 700% since the US government put a few quid into it and SpaceX is preparing to IPO at a higher valuation than the entire Bitcoin network, yet Bitcoin, as a global monetary asset that's having billions of inflows, is still 40% off it's all time high and 10% down YTD?
Even Nvidia, who has a $5.4T market cap, almost 3.5x Bitcoins market cap, has moved 20%+ higher in 2026 despite all the macro-economic challenges.
I don't know what it is - I said last year that someone was manipulating the price & it turned out to be Jane Street.
It still feels off.
It'll come out eventually. I don't know why, but Bitcoin should be FAR higher than it is right now.
It will revert at some point. I'm convinced of it.
Until then, I'll continue to be perplexed by the price action but grateful I'm able to keep stacking at these lower levels. 🧡

@SteaknShake @jack Do you guys ever get sick of winning because it seems like you don’t
English

@FutureGoldCoins @saylor that is a function of bitcoin per share, bitcoin price, and mnav multiple.
English

@saylor Serious question sir.
Will Strategy ever consider doing a MSTR stock buyback?

@Unseen_Archive @UMich Go blue Dr. Peterson. Anyone who actually read or listened to the two sentences that you spoke about this topic and came away from it enraged needs to do some serious soul-searching.

Below: a statement laying out the context for my 2 May speech before the graduating students @UMich. In summary: I didn't mislead anyone about what I planned to say; neither did I replace one script with another.

@thepowerfulHRV Why? You can book loses and offset other cap gains and rebuy immediately.
Having more money invested is usually a good idea, right?

Sina, his early admonitions to "never sell your Bitcoin" were not informed by the IRS's favorable return of capital (ROC) treatment for preferred stock dividends, as their issuance didn't yet exist.
As you probably know, the IRS doesn’t apply wash sale rules to Bitcoin since it’s currently considered property. For tax efficiency, it makes sense to occasionally sell Bitcoin with a high-cost basis to help offset future tax liabilities.
Ultimately, it makes sense to back a tweak in the company’s approach, like occasionally selling off a small portion of its Bitcoin holdings to take profits when possible and fund dividend payments, effectively silencing those who throw around the “Ponzi” accusation. $MSTR
Sina 🗝️⚡ BI Report@Snz_BTC
It's logical to sell when you need to, but yet another inconsistency to build a brand on "never selling" without meaning it.
English

The failure mode for STRC and MSTR is so obvious. The total issued STRC as a percentage of the bitcoin MSTR owns grows (it’s already 10%). Bitcoin goes through a future modest correction and now the total issued STRC is much larger than the bitcoin value Strategy has. The fact that there is now more preferred equity than there is backing capital means STRC loses par and no amount of increased dividend can fix it.
This is the exact same thing that happened with Terra Luna exactly 4 years ago
The only way Strategy can make this work is to rapidly lower the dividend and slow the issuance. If STRC issuance grows to a significant portion of btc value it will eventually collapse.
English

@ryQuant @BTCBreadMan @Strategy @CedYoungelman Supply comes from existing holders and increases with price. It is never limited in the sense you are talking about, even if fiat stops existing. Mstr will be buying smaller amounts as usd value increases.
English

The failure mode for $STRC is that Strategy discovers that demand actually increases when the dividend is eventually dropped, since this demonstrates a level of financial responsibility. Then Strategy can't maintain par without exploding issuance, also btc price independently drops, and we get obligations too high relative to backing collateral.
This is the same failure mode that happened exactly 4 years ago with UST and Luna.
I am hopeful that Strategy begins the process of lowering the dividend in the relatively near future.

@themarketvitals @Invest_Brandon Isn’t it just a normal margin loan?
English

@Invest_Brandon What brokerage do you use that allows selling puts that are portfolio secured? I can't seem to find a way to get Fidelity to let me do that.
English

If I won 5 million bucks tomorrow, I would immediately do this:
$2m in $VOO
$2m in $QQQ
$1m in single stocks.
- Sell puts with strikes 10% below the current prices assuming the stock/ETF is near intrinsic value.
-1 year durations MINIMUM.
-Reinvest the put premiums back into more shares.
-Portfolio secured, not cash secured.
-Repeat when there is deals for consistent cash flow.
- Keep ratios in check to manage crashes
This is the exact system scaled me to millions, and it can scale you too.
KEEP IT SIMPLE GUYS

@itsToghrul @benjamincowen Almost as if this doesn’t happen every single fucking time. All these stupid goldfish brained idiots doing victory laps in what will obviously be a bull trap because it always is.
English

I’ve never seen so many posts criticizing a single person in my life.
My entire feed is filled with “how wrong Benjamin is” posts.
It’s as if Bitcoin is currently trading at $120,000.
Imagine how quiet the market will be once the price reaches around $78,000-$84,000 and then drops <$70K, then $60K, and then $50K.
