🌎OPPORTUNITY Opportunities for the entire food system to make meaningful progress in this sustainability space are endless! Furthermore, #beef is a 🔑 component to a healthy, resilient & sustainable food system. Especially in the face of feeding a growing 🌎 population. /4

🤝PARTNERSHIP @USRSBeef is an incredible example of how partnerships across sectors in the beef value chain can move the needle for an entire industry. BUT partnerships outside of our respective silos are critical to ensuring a resilient and sustainable food system. 3/

Dr. Brad Morgan covered food waste and a call to action: we can & must do better. If food waste were a country, it would be the 3rd largest GHG emitter. Meat is the least wasted food, which begs to ?: what can we do to help make a difference. (Hint - it isn’t giving up meat)

All of this to say - there are efforts happening on a global scale to utilize 🐂🐮 as valuable tools to enhance ecosystems & demonstrate #naturepositive benefits of grazing cattle. This ties directly into a sustainable food supply of which cattle are a critical component! 4/4

In Colombia, El Hatico Natural Reserve has been working for decades to enhance their lands and be net positive contributors to nature through grazing cattle. Increasing soil organic matter, biomass, carrying capacity and more without the need for synthetic fertilizers. 3/

Fantastic #GCSB22 panel on global efforts to address the @GRSBeef Nature Positivity goal. Common misconception: beef production has a net negative impact on the environment. This panel has demonstrated that #SustainableBeef production is key to healthy environments! 1/
