Today is Flag Day in Canada. 🇨🇦 One of my favourite stories to write in ‘Ottawa Made’ was how our Canada Flag was chosen 61 years ago and the young woman behind the scenes.

Thank you to the Orléans resident who allowed us to share video from inside their home after yesterday’s fire, caused when a dog chewed a lithium-ion heated ski glove battery. Sharing this footage helps spread a vital fire safety message that could prevent fires and save lives.
