@RobertAlai Let him come out and condemn the attack on the Senator. The gang he’s appearing with in circulating photos is the same one which attacked the Senator. Is it just a coincidence? If so then he’d the circumstances he found himself among them. Let’s not coverup wrongs.

A Luo leader within ODM has been calling Luhya leaders from Kakamega, Vihiga and Bungoma asking them to link Raymond Omollo with the attack on Osotsi and push for his suspension. This person is also the one using Babu Owino to fight Raymond Omollo. These will all end. The leader called Walukhe today and even Mzee Fred Gumo asking them to push for the removal of Raymond Omollo. The attack at Java yesterday might have even been coordinated by the same leader to link Raymond Omollo with it.

@mundu_useful Osotsi couldn’t have been supplying electricity in an open Java. I know Acacia is part of Java but I doubt they’d leave Acacia’s breakfast for Java coffee/tea. Who among the attackers was the husband of the alleged woman?

Most parts of Busia and Vihiga you can’t tell whether the person is a Luo or a Luhya. Whether Hon. Osotsi was supplying electricity or not, Luo elders should know that at the end of this Luhya Luo war they will end up with many unmarried daughters.

My friend Humphrey Wattanga came to KRA as its Commissioner General with the highest credentials of any occupant of that office since. But he came in tiptoeing quietly, served his term quietly & has left quietly. KRA is yet to be transformed as a catalyst for economic change. Instead, it remains a Government ATM! Public leadership at its top echelons like KRA CG demands an individual that comes in & leaves real change that is visible, verifiable & impactful. Sadly, my friend has left KRA where it was. I had so much faith in Humphrey. As he leaves like a thief in the night, am sad that maybe we expect too much from those with impeccable academic credentials. Maybe whom we need is a village bulldozer not an ALLIANCE BOY!

@AssociatesRoba @wuodosur This opens a can of worms in the public procurement! S167 of PPADA, 2015, however, grants tenderers 14 days to lodge a complaint with the Review Board upon notification of intention of an award. 14 days start running on the date of notification of intention, not otherwise.

🔴🚨 BREAKING FROM THE COURT OF APPEAL: SEE AN IRREGULAR TENDER? CHALLENGE IT IMMEDIATELY OR LOSE YOUR RIGHT FOREVER Across Kenya, many businesses walk away from public tenders feeling cheated; irregular bid openings, unexplained clarifications, sudden changes, yet they wait, hoping the issue will be corrected during evaluation or after the award. In Goldfield Insurance Brokers Limited v Public Procurement Administrative Review Board & Others (Court of Appeal, 2026), the Court of Appeal of Kenya has delivered a stark and dramatic reality: if you see a procurement irregularity and fail to challenge it within 14 days, the law shuts the door, completely! In this case, a bidder noticed that during tender opening, a competitor’s bid security was read out as significantly lower than required, only for the procuring entity to later “clarify” the figure through SMS and calls. The bidder waited until the final award before challenging the process, but by then, time had already run out. The Court of Appeal ruled that procurement timelines are unforgiving and strictly enforced. Once a bidder becomes aware of a breach, even at the tender opening stage, the 14-day clock begins to run immediately. The judges emphasized that a bidder does not need to wait for the final award, disqualification, or outcome before challenging a flawed process. Waiting to see whether you win or lose before filing a complaint is not strategy, it is fatal. The Court held that once the complaint is filed late, the Review Board has no jurisdiction at all, meaning even a strong complaint collapses purely on timing. This judgment delivers both a warning and scattered hope to businesses navigating public procurement. The hope lies in the Court’s clarity: the law protects bidders against irregular procurement, but only for those who act quickly. The warning is equally powerful: silence, hesitation, or delay can permanently lock you out of justice. For businesses across Kenya, the message from the Court of Appeal is unmistakable: When you see a flawed tender process, act immediately, because in procurement law, time is not just important… time is everything. Kindly repost.🙏

@MwangoCapital @OpiyoWandayi, was a contract signed between the parties? Was any under duress, or did a party misrepresent itself or the contract fraudulent? You may ask One Petroleum to withdraw and export the product, but you can’t escape damages for breach of contract, it’ll be costly!

Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi says a 60,000MT super petrol consignment illegally imported outside G-to-G was priced at KES 198,000 per metric tonne vs KES 140,000 per metric tonne under G-to-G, a KES 58,000 per metric tonne premium or ~41% higher, implying ~+KES 14/litre at the pump: — He also says the cargo bypassed the G-to-G framework, distorting pricing discipline and risking supply integrity — He has directed that One Petroleum withdraw all invoices and issue corresponding credit notes to OMCs, barred any payment for or uptake of the cargo, and ordered the company to export the consignment out of the country — He has also directed that EPRA exclude the consignment from pricing, reinforcing G-to-G as the binding benchmark and shutting parallel supply channels

CS Opiyo Wandayi's core responsibility is to develop, implement, review and enforce policies in the Ministry of Energy & Petroleum. He is the leader, reporting directly to the President. He knew or aught to have known the diversion of condemned fuel worth Sh 4billion, by those 3 thieves, into the Kenyan market If he knew he must be arrested immediately for criminal culpability. If he didn't know he must immediately take political responsibility and resign or be sacked for cross incompetence. If the President fails to sack him because of shenanigans of broad-based government, the National Assembly must then exercise its constitutional mandate and impeach him

CLARIFICATION Should those who registered before 2012 as voters need to register afresh? Not at all UNLESS they DID NOT register as voters from 2012 when the new Register of Voter (ROV) was established under the new Constitution of Kenya 2010 and boundaries delimitation of 2012. REASON? Because before 2012, the ROV was manual. In 2012, it went BIOMETRIC and so all eligible Kenyans were required to enrol and their Biometrics captured. This is the ROV that has been in place since 2013. As of the 2022 General Election, the Commission maintained an accurate and audited register comprising 22,120,458 voters. So we have not asked ALL OLD VOTERS PRE-2012 to register a fresh. Just those few who might have missed to register in 2012 and who, subsequently, have never registered under the Biometric system to date. No panic.!! Help a friend... Couples is it okay for a husband to be sending my younger siz (22 years) money? She's in college and I found out through Mpesa that he's sending her money (first 7k, second- 5,300 shiilings all within one month) when I asked him he said my siz asked for pocket money then I asked my siz amd she told me my husband just surprised her with the money as a good brother in law. Couples who do I believe now and is it right really? Consider my sister stayed with us before joining college, I also found out my husband has saved her sizzy with a love emoji (Sizzy❤) should I be worried?

Nothing controversial about cleaning the voter register. Dead voters have to be de-registered. It has to be cleaned. Why are some people so worried about the decision of the IEBC? Let’s have a clean register. Guys, not diggity. On your bike.
