I spy with my little eye ... new kerbs on our Streatham Hill scheme. The A23 here has a terrible safety record. Tragically, 3 people have been killed. There were over 70 collisions over 3 yrs. This scheme will make it safer for everyone with new bike lanes & ped crossings.

The first part of the peloton passed while the red lights were flashing but the barriers were not coming down yet. They couldn't stop safely so fast, nobody will be DSQ normally. Nobody sneaked under the barriers this time unlike in the past. #RVV26

@scottygb Channel 5 are still in the game. As a parent I love the choice of the streamers and the curation of content it’s possible to do (avoiding YouTube). BBC has that built in, it’s basically all high quality, plus watching live in the morning we can keep track of time…

What is clear is that the collapse of linear advertising (incl junk food advertising) has caused children’s television funding to collapse in the uk. With streamers not really interested in investment it is just the BBC keeping it going.

I feel conflicted with this one. Lower income households still watch linear television. Parents also trust linear television providing decent kids stuff. But younger viewers are clearly not watching linear tv any more - ask any kid about their habits.

Tell me again why we need to pedestrianise Oxford Street? Pavement less than half full. Not sure why closing the road will entice more shoppers.
