A student asked for my best leadership advice today. I'll share it with you: "Assume positive intent." Starting with the assumption that everyone is trying their best will ensure you are doing your best. Even in error, most people aren't trying to hurt or damage you.

Glad to see NYTimes highlighting one racist tool of our legal system & early momentum for reform and discussing my research @CalifLRev. Reminder that the mechanism most harms ppl charged w/ crimes (the reporter notes this). Example of how system protects whiteness, no matter what

@USTreasury PSP Compliance Reports requiring answers to newly added questions for Q1 2021 are due tomorrow (8/31), but some forms are still glitchy and can’t be submitted. Emailed CARES IT Fri but still no response. Will deadline be extended to account for ongoing tech issues?

Got my first paid brand partnership last week! I started making menswear videos last year as a passion project while I stayed indoors. Really glad I never stopped.

The lack of grace or humanity at @Avis is just appalling. A delay of 5 minutes caused by some car accident on the road leading to the return center cost my father-in-law a whopping $116.27. Don’t blame him for canceling his reservation in a few weeks. Hope it was worth it, Avis.

After @BerkeleyLaw had to go remote in March 2020 due to #COVID, @CalifLRev student editors who’d borrowed books for journal work couldn’t even return to campus. But now, @UCBerkeleyLib is assessing late fees and refusing waiver requests. Just awful. @insidehighered @chronicle
