I’m very conflicted about if I should get #Starfield or not. On one hand I love Bethesda games and have played them for many years. On the other, whenever I hear discourse about the game it’s largely negative.

Listen, I am a big fan of the OG FF7. But saying the OG game doesn't have any haters is a bit of a stretch. You don't know how many "The Plot is garbage." "It's overhyped trash," and most of all, "This game brought tourists into the series." I've heard and read in person and on X.

@YunalesckaGames Nahh we are going to have to throw that combat in the garbage and come up with something new. Maybe when you get in a battle, a round of Tetris starts, but we will give the blocks names like “Shiva” and “Bahamut” so it will be a true Final Fantasy experience.

I LOVE the variety of combat systems that Final Fantasy has created. I’m obsessed with turn based but I’ve learned to embrace the other combat systems from XII and up. It’s refreshing. Final Fantasy VII Remake/Rebirth’s combat was such a fun experience and I crave more of it. 🤩

4. How will the final game work with open world/airships? Can we revisit places from previous games? Sounds like a headache to figure out

1. Sephiroth is kinda ruined. The darkness and mystique is gone, and we already beat him twice as an end game boss, not excited for another at all.
2. Waiting a decade plus to have the whole cast sucks. What if you really like Cid or Vincent?

Some of you have some strong opinions about hating this Remake it seems 😅, which is fine, not everyone likes the same things... but I gotta be honest some of the complaints sound entirely parroted, or based on a complete misunderstanding of whats happening in the game lol

The beautiful thing about FF7 Remake Part 3 is that there is going to be a meltdown for the ages regardless of what happens, because people have spent so long building ideas up in their head that have no basis in reality, and thinking the devs are liars. I predict some of the biggest meltdowns of all time, actually, just biblical, and discussion is going to get even more volatile than it can get even now.

@motokomakima This makes sense, it’s completely fair to want to judge it all as a whole. For some us though, we have been trying to understand the justification of the puzzle in the first place.

I do not dismiss criticism or feedback, i mean, I have my own about the games.
But there’s worlds of difference between say, criticising the Dyne scene and how maybe that wasn’t done as well as it could have been, and “lol the Remake fucking SUCKS, its trash, always been trash, multiverse sequel garbage ass trash tier game, og rulez, you’re not a true fan, the compilation shit butt shit” and i’m not gonna pretend otherwise
