@strojkontrolj @AJamesMcCarthy @waitbutwhy No one is morally obligated to make a poor decision just because others lack wisdom.
English

@taa6969 @AJamesMcCarthy @waitbutwhy You keep asking the wrong questions. The only important question is "will there be people voting blue". If the answer is yes, anyone with a conscience should vote blue - and so no one dies. BTW, blue is winning, 23 hours I, so we saved your ass too

Leave your answer in the comments. I’ll post the answer with tomorrow’s game.

@strojkontrolj @AJamesMcCarthy @waitbutwhy Those who choose to accept risk should be held accountable for their choices.
Why should everyone have to accept risk when a risk-free alternative exists?
Why should those who choose an absence of risk be held responsible for those who actively accept risk?
English

@taa6969 @AJamesMcCarthy @waitbutwhy So we kill them all. That's what you're proposing, since you do understand some will vote blue and die if red wins. That is your "no risk" situation, everyone who votes blue dies
English

@AJamesMcCarthy @waitbutwhy Those who choose blue are responsible for incorporating risk into this hypothetical situation. Those choosing red are opting for an absence of risk.
Those who choose risk should be held accountable for their decisions especially since they're gambling with the fate of humanity.
English

@taa6969 @waitbutwhy There’s risk in choosing red too, as I mentioned
English

@AJamesMcCarthy @waitbutwhy It's entirely a question of risk. The only option where risk exists is blue.
The question is why involve risk when it is unnecessary.
English

I’m solidly on team blue, out of self-preservation.
Let’s say I push the red button like 60% of people
40% of the world dies.
The next day I go to the grocery store. The store didn’t open because the managers that have the keys all picked blue. We break windows to steal food, but the food is not replenished as the truckers that survived are concerned for their own family’s survival as the world descends into chaos and stay home.
This problem is echoed across every factory in every industry. Supply chains are fragile, and a 40% labor shortage across most industries would collapse them before they have time to re-stabilize under the new lower demand. Survivors that manage critical infrastructure abandon their jobs to make sure they can provide for their families, as even if their paychecks are uninterrupted you can’t eat money.
Neighborhoods would tear themselves apart as people compete for resources.
Human life has a very short expiration date once people start going hungry, and civilization is more fragile than you’d think.
Yes, if everyone pushed red everyone would live, but you know that won’t happen. The only way to guarantee your family’s survival isn’t to vote red, but blue, and hope enough people followed your logic and did the same.
Pushing the red button seems smart on the surface, but is the more dangerous option if you think critically about the long term consequences.
English

@PhDPersuasion @waitbutwhy It's obvious that you're up to date on your booster shots.
English

@waitbutwhy I've noticed a lot of red-pushers have a tendency to call people retarded (or be otherwise insulting) without having been provoked. Kinda tells you something about their character lol.

@Relic_cileR Elden Ring is the only game that I wanted 100% in because I figured that was actually an impressive achievement considering it's the greatest game I've ever played.
I gained 100% in Starfield out of love of the game. Any other game, I'm happy when I roll credits.

@JamesMelville License to Kill is the best Bond movie.
I'm not saying that Dalton was the best, but the movie was.
English

@CalSepsis Hopefully, you get things up and running and if you decide to use the Quantum device, make sure to save your ammo.
Cheers, and have fun.

I took my main computer, the one that was throwing memory issues at me, and I wiped it to nothing. All my files are online, so the only thing I lost is a world in Minecraft and my Pittsburgh save in Infection Free Zone.
I repartitioned it, downloaded everything from scratch, and texted the hell out of it with Starfield. Not a single issue with test characters, and I finally restarted my main man, the Apostle of the Great Serpent himself, Jin'ai Serpenti!
I pray to the Great Serpent this works because I can't afford a new computer right now.
English

@CalSepsis I hope that you've resolved these issues because I haven't played Starfield since I completed Shattered Space, but now, I've put in a ton of hours because the update is beyond awesome.
Have fun. You're going to love it.
English

@taa6969 So far so good. Been having issues for months, almost a year, so I took rather drastic measures this time.
English

@Swurv__ Neon is funner because there's more stuff to jump off of.
I didn't even realize that the Underbelly was higher than the Spaceport until a few days ago after I completed The Widow by not wearing a mask and just slaughtering everyone.
Stealth is such a pain in the ass.

Layer 2 down. The weather wouldn't change to a nice day for quite a while when I tried to wait, so these progress shots will have to do. ✨️🫡

The Overboss 💀@StarbornNomad
Alright, Layer 1's done. This update thread's gonna grow over the next few days and into next week. I'm trying to keep the outpost pretty compact and organized, but I can tell you, in about two weeks, I'll have totally overdone it and made a huge outpost that'll rival some of the big settlements in settled systems. 😅 #Starfield #スターフィールド
