ICYMI: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has admitted the DOJ excluded images showing “death, physical abuse, or injury” from today’s Epstein files release. Let that sink in. The government is acknowledging graphic evidence exists and chose to withhold it, while redacting names tied to Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful associates, including Donald Trump. Yet, nothing has happened for months now.

What is going on with World Bank? The World Bank’s recent "epiphany" was a major U-turn on industrial policy. It is a major "confession" &reversal. After decades of discouraging state intervention in favor of free-market "Washington Consensus" reforms, the Bank has officially acknowledged that its previous advice "has the practical value of a floppy disk today & now this👇 - interesting devt, definately related to geopolitical dev't & the West it self being back to industrial policy.

Ethiopia has taken one of the most decisive steps in African transport policy by banning all new petrol and diesel vehicle imports not just buses, but private cars, minibuses, vans, and larger public transport vehicles too. This means the country has effectively shut the door on new fuel-powered vehicles entirely. Existing ones can still operate, but nothing new running on petrol or diesel is coming in. The shift isn’t just a ban it comes with an active replacement plan. Addis Ababa already has around 100 electric buses on the road, the first wave of what the government intends to scale into thousands under future Bus Rapid Transit programmes. The city’s transport landscape is a mix of public and private. State-owned operators like the Anbessa City Bus Service Enterprise handle the large city buses, while private operators dominate the minibus and taxi routes that most ordinary commuters depend on daily. The energy logic behind all this is straightforward. Ethiopia generates almost all its electricity from hydropower including the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam meaning the grid is already clean. Electrifying transport is therefore not just an environmental move; it’s a way to stop sending billions of dollars out of the country in fuel import costs and redirect that spending toward domestically generated power. Meanwhile, back in Kenya, the president’s son just unveiled another mobile nightclub a graffiti-wrapped bus so aggressively dark inside that you need to have memorised your route by feel alone to know when to alight. Our neighbours are weaning themselves off fossil fuels and we are still figuring out the lighting situation on a matatu. Ethiopia is eating solid food. Kenya is in a nappy, pacifier firmly in mouth, looking very comfortable about it.

Several European nations, including massive economies like Spain, France, and Italy, have done far less for Ukraine than they are actually capable of. They have the capacity to do so much more. The war is not over, and it is definitely not too late for them to finally step up

🚨🇲🇽🇯🇵 URGENT: Mexico just stepped in to rescue Japan. President Sheinbaum and Prime Minister Takaichi agreed to increase Mexican oil exports to Japan. The Strait of Hormuz is choked. The Middle East is burning. Japan's supply lines are cracking. So Tokyo called Mexico City. Not Washington. Not Riyadh. Mexico. The empire is not at the table. Two nations just made a deal. Energy security without permission. Broadcast this everywhere. The world is finding new partners. And the US is not one of them.

@DecodingFoxNews Based on what data? Coal still represents about 35% of electricity supply worldwide and Chinese coal plants will maintain that ratio for the next 20-30 yrs. Natural Gas is gaining but has global trade issues. Nuclear is far behind as is solar or hydro. None are passing coal soon

Sure, I'm not making an advocacy point, except maybe to advocate for charitable interpretation of what someone says. He said that coal leads. Most of these analyses, including the one you linked, will break it down with coal on the same level as individual renewable technologies like solar, or other fossil fuels like natural gas, or nuclear. So, charitably, I think it's fair to say he's probably working from similarly organized data, and with that in mind, he's right. Among sources of generation categorized thusly, coal still leads. If he had said "fossil fuels" as a class, I think a comparison to "renewables" as a class would make sense, but then he'd still be right if he said "fossil fuels" lead. It seems clear the choice to compare "renewables" to "coal" is careful framing by media to claim a subjective narrative victory beyond the objective gains in solar (which are remarkable, though I do like nuclear too). But it's not charitable to use that framing to call someone "incredibly stupid", IMO.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! FBI Director Patel says leftist NGO Southern Poverty Law Center, which has now been indicted, was using donor to pay leaders of the KU KLUX KLAN to stage "HATE CRIMES" "They used the FRAUDULENTLY raised money by lying to their donor network—THOUSANDS of Americans—to go ahead and actually PAY the leadership of these supposed violent extremist groups. "Furthermore, our investigation revealed that the Southern Poverty Law Center—on TOP of perpetuating this widespread decade-long multimillion dollar fraud—conducted more criminal activity. They attempted to HIDE their criminal activity from our financial banking network. They set up shell companies and entities around America so that the financial institutions that we rely on as everyday Americans were DECEIVED in believing that money was NOT coming from the Southern Poverty Law Center in the perpetration of this scheme and fraud, but rather fictitious entities they stood up to perpetuate this ongoing fraud." @FBIDirectorKash
