@tyminski_marek Don't make it like Nioh 3 please. That heavy beats feels really annoying for a fast paced game. Team Ninja screwed it up. Nioh 2 on the other hand was amazing. Lotf was alright I guess.

Major sound FX overhaul incoming. We're giving the entire combat audio a massive upgrade — heavier, more brutal, and deeply satisfying weapon impacts, parries, clashes, Umbral effects, and enemy feedback. Stay tuned.

@fromsoftserve Honestly this wasn't a problem at all for us PvPers we got used to it may be. I think this was better inputs compared to what we have in Elden Ring.

@Dreamnesia1 @raunak_yadush It depends on your sound device or the product you are using. Some issues arise if you turn it on. If turned off things run well. Weird.

Windows has been degrading your game audio since the day you installed it. Right click your sound icon and go to sound settings-> choose your playback device: Format-> 16 bit (or highest) , 48000 Hz Disable audio enhancements Disable spatial sound (Windows Sonic on top of in-game 3D audio means two algorithms fighting over the same sound) Every headset, every speaker, every IEM. All affected. All fixable in 30 seconds. Screenshot below.

@AbedOmary @raunak_yadush Spatial sound always makes lower footstep noises which I don't like in gaming earbuds but Sony has this thing called dynamic range control - set to high to make quiet noise louder.

@raunak_yadush Turned off Windows Sonic after noticing footsteps in a game sounded smeared. Same headset, same game directional audio snapped into place immediately. Two spatial algorithms running together don't add up. They cancel out.

@raunak_yadush Yes I already figured this out 10 years ago lol especially when using a wired setup. But these days I use gaming ear buds so this trick doesn't work. Also I use dolby audio for spatial audio but it doesn't work on all ear buds. Disable audio enhancement not sure if I agree.

@MortalShellGame Also we like our main character and locked on enemies to be always in the middle of screen. Only from software does this better than any other souls like games except in Nioh 1 and 2 which is good too. Nioh 3 camera angles during lock on was terrible I hope it's like Fromsoftwar

@MortalShellGame New god of war games style cam is awful and is not immersive at all lol and they call it immersion. Can't even see my character's feet and half of game's world how is it immersion 😂. But this game feels actual AAA standard game compared to 1st game Looks awesome 😎

@HuskSenpai @ShitpostRock2 While I am not a big rockstar games fanboy I'm indeed a gamer and souls guy who plays othe games too. But I have to say rockstar games provide best value for money too just like from software games. But the online components of souls games and the replay value is unmatched imo

GTAV alone has outsold every FromSoft game released in the same time period by more then 3x. I know sales don’t mean anything really but to sit here and argue FromSoft being better in any category other then amount of games produced is crazy. Theres a reason GTA6 is expected to be on of the greatest games of all time and that reason is because people know rockstar can do it.
