Sometimes you end up in a situation where it’s basically Goku and Frieza vs Jiren. You don’t like each other. You don’t trust each other. You’ve literally been enemies forever. The only option left is teaming up with Frieza—a guy who would stab him in the back the second he gets the chance. So they fight together anyway. No friendship, no redemption arc—just pure necessity. They literally throw themselves at Jiren at the same time, knowing it might take both of them out, just to win. That’s what this is. Not trust. Not respect. Just survival.
