@wifemomcpa100 We use the eero network on top of our internet router. Provides a secondary network that allows you to turn on and off access at the device level. Can also assign profiles for each kid so their access across all of their devices turns off and on by schedules. Game changer.

Is there a feature on tablets to limit screen time like the sleep mode on TVs? I need a more formal way to shut down my children’s screen time, shut off mid game. My only concern is that #TheKid is a little hacker. He finds ways to get into stuff.

@JStaatsCPA As part of a small firm owner networking group, last week we pressure tested TaxGPT, BlueJ, and CPA Pilot by feeding the platforms three separate rounds of identical questions. None of the three proved to be a reliable source. They each missed key, even simple bits of regs.

I want to hear from anyone happily using AI for tax research: We have a few dedicated AI tax research platforms now, but anecdotally I hear folks having equally good success with their own research libraries they've built in Perplexity or ChatGPT. If you've done much work on this, what has been your impression testing dedicated AI tax research tools like BlueJ or TaxGPT, vs mainstream tech like Perplexity or ChatGPT for research?

Caitlin Clark is a talented basketball player, but her behavior during this tournament has been disappointing. We need athletes to set good examples for young people, and CC had the opportunity to be a positive role model but fell short. It’s not just her, players in all sports need to realize that young players look up to them and want to be like them.

Two weeks ago, I was contemplating the timing of sharing that my wife and I were expecting a third child. During a doctor's visit on the 13th, we found out that the baby had stopped developing and passed away shortly after our first sonogram appointment. I'm sharing this because miscarriage is more common than you think, and there are a lot of couples that go through the grief of losing a baby alone. If you have lost a child from miscarriage, you're not alone, and I'm very sorry for your loss. It's a pain that you cannot understand unless you have gone through it. Even though we are still processing grief from the situation, we still have hope that we will get to meet our child one day. This gives us joy, and we praise God for it!

Any Superhuman users here? I was trying to clean out my inbox on Friday and somehow it's real clean. No unread emails. 🙄 I'm not receiving any emails in my inbox either, but emails that are set up to go to split boxes are being received. WTH have I done? Fortunately, I still have outlook so I can see all my emails. But Superhuman is great for getting through them. I got an award to getting to Zero but I didn't really get to Zero. 🤣
