🚨: The world's largest upcoming museum, the Yuge Yugeen Bharat National Museum, to be built in Delhi, is aimed at having 950 rooms, highly anticipated in showcasing "the story of India" spanning over 5,000 years. The magnificent museum is to be constructed in the North and South blocks in the heart of Delhi and will cover an area of 1.17 lakh sq m with rooms spread over a basement and three storeys. Notably, there will be eight thematic segments in the museum. This will include ancient Indian knowledge to the medieval, the medieval to the transition phase, modern India, colonial rule (the Dutch, the British, the Portuguese, and others that came). It will also be added by the history of India's freedom struggle, and the 100 years from 1947 onwards, including the "vision" ahead in the future for a strong self-reliant country. A virtual walkthrough of the "forward-looking museum", as the officials said, shows the gallery exhibits on ancient town planning systems, the Vedas, Upanishads, and ancient medical knowledge, including the Mauryan to Gupta Empires, the Vijayanagara Empire, the Mughal Empire, and other dynasties. The Union Minister of State for Culture, Meenakashi Lekhi, stated that the current National Museum building, laid by first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on May 12, 1955, will become part of the Kartavya Path and the annexes of the Kartavya Path.
