🤔 Jury is still very much out on Nick Woltemade. On paper he’s had a fine start to #NUFC life, but the underlying metrics are flashing strong warning signs. Among 25/26 PL striker, Woltemade ranks: - 29th percentile for xG - 18th percentile for shot volume - 22nd percentile for open play xG assisted - 30th percentile for aerial wins - 0 percentile (!!) carry & dribble value - 58th percentile xG/shot Among the encouraging signs: - 75th percentile shot on ball value shows his lack of shots and low xG are at least not totally killing Newcastle’s win odds - 87th percentile touches in box is a healthy number. Now he needs to convert those into actual high value shots! Woltemade is most definitely NOT a sound #FPL pick atm. 📊 @Statsbomb
