Life has just started

Thousands of Indian parents are now going on trips without their kids. They raised the kids. paid the fees. got them settled. And now they have decided: “Beta, you are not invited.” For years, elder travel in India meant one thing. Whole family trip. Parents, children, grandchildren, 18 bags, 4 hotel rooms, and one person shouting at the reception. But something has changed. A lot of people in the 55 to 65 age group are entering a new phase of life. Their kids are working. married. and moved out. The biggest responsibility of their life(from their pov) is almost over. And suddenly, they have two things they did not have earlier - Time and money. So now, they’re doing what the younger generation started - "Trips with friends. siblings. their own circle." And this is quietly changing the travel market in India. Because this customer does not want a cheap trip. They want comfort Trust Good food Clean bathrooms Safe travel and ease of everything They want someone to take care of everything. Hotel Transport Food (mostly veg) Darshan Doctor on call Coordinated clothes (yes, that's a thing!) Group coordination The next big travel startup in India may not be built for Gen Z, honeymoon couples, or backpackers. It may be built for their parents who - finally have freedom and spending power - don’t want to sit at home waiting for their kids to make plans - want their own plans
