I find it crazy how on schedule the Artemis III SLS is, like the core stage is litterally just sitting there ready (or very close), to move from Michoud to the VAB where it's engine section already resides.

Could Nitesh Tiwari kindly clarify which exact location this is between India and Sri Lanka? I seem to have missed this in both geography and history.

@pmddomingos if humans are so smart, why do they need eyes, ears, vocal cords, taste, smell, touch,,,,,,,,,,

If LLMs are so smart, why do they need all these prompts, harnesses, post-training, scaffolding, etc.?

So America is going back to the moon, huh. Truly the faustian race on the planet.

@sar1287 @mightbejell0 I agree, but what's more important: going to the moon or recording something for posterity? I'm pretty sure they have on board recordings but haven't transmitted them yet.

My biggest complaint is that they don’t use starlink antennas on the core stage 😭🙏

@mightbejell0 The lack of video feeds from the craft during launch is a weight saving measure. Video transmission that isn't mission critical (the shot you showed was to confirm faring sep) is limited to when the solar panels are active to save on battery weight.

@sar1287 @aravind But at that time computing power was even less than today's scientific calculator. Can't imagine with that " primitive " tech they landed on moon. Anyway, they are attempting now.

And liftoff... Artemis II mission is on the way to the Moon carrying humans. On the most powerful rocket NASA ever built. Mach 2 in less than 2 mins! All the best to the astronauts. They will swing around the Moon in this 10 day mission. Kudos to the crew and scientists!

@Truthful_ast We need to inspire a new generation of astronauts, scientists, engineers etc.! Laggy PS3 graphics of the rocket, almost no on-board views and shaky ground tracking isn't going to cut it.

@booster_10 NASA commentary is significantly better. I rather hear the callouts instead of the cheering section.

@aravind But i don't understand, why they are not attempting to land even after completing 6 landing missions between 1969 and 1972 ( Apollo program) Earlier moon landings were fake?

@aravind But they landed on moon in 1969 Isn't it crazy... They can't do it now... When you know what it takes to land on moon... You realise how beautifully they fooled the world, such propaganda
