@bradpettitt 2/2 I’m not disagreeing with its destruction, but we should challenge the way it is described. As you identify since 1953 Perth metro planning policies have attempted to combat it, but instead structurally reinforce it.

@bradpettitt 1/2 Planned urban growth. Sprawl has been adopted from our US counterparts where it is uncontrolled. We’ve adopted this term in Oz without critiquing it. It turns up as ‘oh well sprawl’ when in fact it’s intentional.
