🚨 #CROFAM EMERGENCY🚨 @CronosApp is about to launch the new tokenomics plan in the next 2 months This is a pivotal moment for the future of #CRO I have never asked for a like or repost because I don't give a fuck about engagement, but I do care about making money... for your own good, do what you can to make sure @kris and @fwiz consider my proposal below. Maybe its ill advised, but the discussion is not... I am calling for a volume / price based burn mechanism similar to the one #BNB📷 / @binance uses. (in reality, the formula is reverse engineered to average ~1% per quarter) The key is to use this as a bridge until the chain is economically viable and can sustain meaningful fee-based burns. @fwiz is 100% correct a 1-time 20B burn would do fuckall for value creation. However, burn those same tokens over 6 years with a formula tied to volume and price (that magically averages ~1% / quarter) and it would support a flywheel for price appreciation which drives volume to the chain., in an environment where volume will already be growing If @CoinBaron and @fwiz are correct and @CronosApp makes meaningful revenue soon, my proposal would be obsolete fast and consume very few tokens (relatively speaking). However if my concerns are true and meaningful revenue takes years, this burn would be a powerful bridge in the interim. My thesis is volume will rise significantly before revenue which will be suppressed in the near term as @cronosapp battles for market share and the #crypto industry battles for blockchain credibility / mass adoption. Don't forget, we presently do something conceptually similar to my proposal by using inflation (as opposed to revenues) to finance staking rewards. I don't make this call flippantly and have been thinking about this for years, far longer than the current @cronosapp leadership... I am requesting this formulaic burn from the perspective of one of the largest retail holders (likely one of the few who is an accredited investor with a CFA charter) as I have invested a half a million dollars and hold over 3.3 million $CRO. I am deeply committed here. I was also the most immediate and public supporter of the 70B unburn, at a time when almost everyone else opposed it. My strong support was in no small part because the 2024 @cronosap roadmap called for a burn formula based on "price and block size". This request is about long term vision, hedging a delay in meaningful revenue and prudent risk management.
