Plague Amma temple is in Tyagarajanagar. That's about 4km from Jayanagar.
I know, because that's next door to my area. Have seen Plague Amma temple since the time it was built.

There is a temple in Jayanagar called Plague Amma temple to appease the plague goddess. The Richmond Circle flyover once was the only flyover in the world to have a traffic light on it. Sreeraj Lassi Bar was actually Siraj Lassi Bar but changed its name to attract the pure veg thindi walk type customers. Most bus stops in Bangalore are named after cinema theaters. Most theaters are gone now though. Includes Majestic, the massive bus station in central Bangalore. Others include Central, Swastik, Lido and Naga.

Driving in Australia, I notice that it's like an open book exam. They tell you that a speed checking camera is ahead. They want you to slow down at times, and they help you with it.
In India, the aim is for police to fine people, without letting them to know that speed is being tracked. I hope we also have a transparent communication like this, which takes the friction out of dealing with traffic police.

@porterit_ - worst customer service.. your driver says he cannot come for pickup. The pickup never happens but money gets deducted and trip is marked complete.
I raise a complaint. And the customer call comes at 11:45 at night. Who even calls so late in the night?

@curiosweetie This is not a regular train station. This is a luxury hotel in which a small station is housed which takes people to Fansipan (highest point in Vietnam) through a cable car.
The regular train stations are very similar to India and nothing really extra.
