D-Day for Iran: There’s huge oil in Iran, only Venezuela and Saudi have more. Not USA, Not Russia, Not Canada. that’s huge HUGE money!! Humongous Natural Gas Reserves rivalled only by Russia and Qatar. Plus the huge electric power plants used to mine Bitcoins. Did you know Iran is just behind USA and Russia globally in mining bitcoins? It’s a huge part of Iran’s economy. The last 47 years, Regime has churned Iran’s resources and financed Hamas, Hezbollah, Houtis etc (to Israel’s grouse) also Lashkar, Jaish and others thru the terror state Pakistan are beneficiaries. They’ve financed every evil on earth. Common Iranians could live like kings and queens if they had good leaders and good governance with the abundant resources God has blessed them with. If the current regime stays, next 47 years or forever rebuilding the same thing will continue. (That’s the regional headache for Iraq, UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Kuwait. Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Afghanistan etc) For USA, removing this regime and installing back Jr. Reza Pahlavi Shah will mean access to oil and power, current regime gives all the oil and gas to China dirt cheap. Russia and North Korea are other beneficiaries. Papa Reza Shah Pahlavi was no saint either. Went WOKE and went broke. Country deteriorated. Regime took over. (from India’s perspective.. he was the first one to recognize Pakistan first day (15 Aug) and first head of state to visit Pakistan and open Iranian embassy in August 1947 and was anti India at the U.N. re Kashmir etc) Jr. Shah is now talking moderate currently but long way to go. I’m surprised all news channels are missing this perspective. Parsis are lovely and intellectual, have been very good to India and rest of the world wherever they’ve settled in including USA and Canada. The beautiful Iranian people deserve better, they must unite and change must come from within and homegrown leaders must be groomed.

I was shocked to hear of the devastating car blast near the Red Fort in Delhi last evening.    I offer my deepest condolences to the loved ones of those who were killed in this horrific explosion, and wish a fast and full recovery to all who were injured. Canada stands with the people of Delhi and India during this time of mourning.

Had a wonderful visit to Ottawa and an excellent meeting at @HCI_Ottawa with the High Commissioner of India to Canada Sri @DineshKPatnaik . @HRNagendra1 was accorded a courteous welcome in the continued effort to grow Yoga and Ayurveda in Canada. We have always been extremely grateful to the Government of India for the unwavering support to what is undoubtedly our greatest exports to the world, right from initiating the first International day of Yoga in 2015 to streamlining the International Ayurveda day from this year. Grateful to the unstinted support of Canada India Foundation and the Chair, Sri @RiteshMalikCan for the tireless efforts in Canada.

Canada 🇨🇦 - 🇮🇳 India relations are experiencing significant improvement: The landmark meeting between Canadian Prime Minister @MarkJCarney and Indian Prime Minister @narendramodi at the G7 summit was followed by a welcome meeting between the two foreign ministers, @DrSJaishankar and @AnitaAnandMP, in New Delhi. The recent appointment of High Commissioners @DineshKPatnaik and ChristopherCooter is a highly promising development. These strides are positive signs for the Canada-India relationship, which had faced challenges previously. As Indo-Canadians, we truly appreciate the efforts being made and hope for continued improvement between our two great nations, which share a natural affinity. Canada is the world's largest democracy by land area, while India is the world's largest democracy by population. May the bond continue to strengthen!
