Is driving an EV in the rain for 30 mins a "Customer Fault"?
My barely 4-month-old @VinFastofficial @VinFastIN EV died completely on the highway after its very first exposure to rain. Now they’re refusing my warranty and blaming me. A total nightmare. #VinFast #EVIndia 1/6

@parikshith__07 I booked mine from Marathalli - but the vehicle was there in that service Center in Mysore Road . Please be very careful with them. As others had suggested please demand for PDI .

While buying a car, trust is everything especially when it’s your primary vehicle and an EV.
Imagine paying ₹22+ lakh and discovering before delivery that the car doesn’t even charge. This happened at Anant Cars, Bangalore, on April 15 just a day before delivery. Yet, replacement wasn’t possible because the vehicle was already registered.
And what was offered as a “gesture”?
A mere ₹5,000 discount on the extended warranty. That’s it.
The car has had charging issues from day one. No assurance, no guarantee nothing.
What happens if someone is travelling with family or kids and the car suddenly refuses to charge? What if there’s a medical emergency? Who takes responsibility then?
Does Mr. Mahindra or the dealership guarantee peace of mind in such situations?
This isn’t acceptable. Mr. Sathya ji @satyeaah this needs answers from Mahindra!

@CAPT_KAPOOR @ShivrattanDhil1 You are right - they don’t care . Their customer service team , sales head , Bangalore cem , none of them even care about their customer’s satisfaction and customer safety
English

@ShivrattanDhil1 Very serious issues with mahindra vehicles but do anyone cares .
Once they delivered the vehicles it's your problem and I don't care attitude .
English

@SidMaiya @ShivrattanDhil1 @anandmahindra Why would @anandmahindra care. They have zero customer service running in their company’s culture
English

@ObserverMindX @ShivrattanDhil1 Oh software issues are soooooo true. 1.Subwoofer has issue - waiting for software fix
2. Unable to create profile - software issue - visit service centre
3. Scuff plate lights aren’t working and they are saying they awaiting software fix
English

@ShivrattanDhil1 Backing local brands matters, but reliability is crucial. Until software stability and hardware consistency improve, it makes sense to look at more refined alternatives.
English

@Anshumn_Sehgal @ShivrattanDhil1 Based on my worst experience with Mahindra @MahindraRise and AnantCars @AnantCars I have to agree #NoToMahindra and #NoToAnantCars
English

@ShivrattanDhil1 This so-called EV revolution is forced on us. I would like to stay away from the EV as long as possible... And if I go for an EV I will go for a non Indian brand... Simply because of the reliability
English

@atvamc @ShivrattanDhil1 Absolutely. Any one responsible and care about their customer would certainly do so, Shows how @MahindraRise @AnantCars care for their customers - Big zero 0
English

@ShivrattanDhil1 A responsible brand would own up the problem and do their best to resolve it. It certainly doesn't look like it going by the owner's tweet. 👇

Paid ₹22+ lakhs for a brand new car. What I got instead? A vehicle that couldn’t even charge before delivery , a lot of mental trauma and stress along with it. Here’s my experience with Anant Cars Bangalore, Mahindra & Mahindra 👇
English

@SudarshanG51216 @ShivrattanDhil1 Agreed - costliest mistake to have trusted them, but is it wrong to expect a quality product after having paid full amount ? Don’t you feel that they have the responsibility to do QC and not to register a faulty vehicle to customer ,
English

@ShivrattanDhil1 It's your mistake that you didn't do proper PDI and research about mahindra. Why blame them now
English

@raghualways23 @ShivrattanDhil1 Honestly wasn’t aware much. I thought it’s a process done by the dealer themselves without customer involvement
English

@ShivrattanDhil1 99% car buyers are not aware of PDI in India. They feel blessed if they get their car delivery in 2 to 3 months after booking.
English

@incognitobk @ShivrattanDhil1 Agreed , had so much confidence but they aren’t willing even stand by their own product , pathetic.
English

@ShivrattanDhil1 Made in India is a very good initiative but the problem lies in approach to quality by Indian Manufacturers and the mindset it functions with. They build average products only to maximizer their own profits. Gifting cars or doing CSR activity for attention doesn't work for long.
English

@ShivrattanDhil1 Thanks Rattan ji for also raising the issue . The amount of mental trauma I went through during this process is inexplicable . @AnantCars @Mahindra_Auto has zero concerns for customer.

@18002096006 @18002096006 - were you able to find your team - any one responsible person to answer my queries ?

Mahindra, as usual you don’t respond. I’ve also heard that you’re planning to take me to court for a defamation case that’s absolutely fine, you’re welcome. But this time, you need to answer this.
What could be a bigger scam than selling cars that have already been in accidents, repairing them, and then passing them off as brand new to customers? How can a company operate at such a level? Your dealerships seem completely careless and fearless.
Imagine the heartbreak of a customer who buys a “new” car, only to later discover it was already accidental. I will be sharing the owner’s details soon and I expect immediate action: deliver a genuinely new car and take strict action against the showroom and dealer involved.
And for customers always make sure you are physically present during the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection). Never skip it. Unfortunately, many people still don’t even know what PDI is, and that’s where the problem begins! 🙏🏻

He trusted Anand Mahindra and Mahindra Electric’s “Make in India” promise and bought the Mahindra Premium Batman Edition.
Then he got stranded at a charging station for over an hour and left without charging, despite all chargers being functional.
Customer support blamed the charger while an MG and other utility vehicles charged without issues.
What kind of customer service is this?
