Dear Avon community, thank you for your continued support.
We’ve made the difficult decision not to proceed with our MegaETH deployment.
MegaVault will be wound down in an orderly manner. If you have funds deposited, please withdraw at your earliest convenience. There is no lock up and no penalty.
More updates to come soon.

Aave is my life's work and we're working nonstop to find the best possible outcome for users.
I’m personally contributing 5000 ETH to DeFi United as we continue working together with partners on formalizing more commitments. I’m working to see this resolved and market conditions normalized as soon as possible.
DeFi United.

@cryptographicas Controlling velocity of capital is next primitive

@saurabh_evm Really good insight into how controlling how quickly capital can be drained can act as a hardening tool and give teams time to react and mitigate losses

Feels like pooled lending protocols would benefit from a rate limit on the supply of an asset being deposited for collateral
Like, if the current supply is 100m and the supply cap is 300m, the supply should only be allowed to go to 110m in the next 10 minutes. Nobody needs to deposit all 200m in one shot
This matters because if/when an exotic asset is hacked, the impact of the hack is constrained by the size of the exit paths for that asset. Especially when you consider that many hacks are infinite mint bugs… there the size of the exits literally determines the size of the hack.
Lending protocols are often the largest exits (DEX liquidity is usually pretty small). Having a “smart cap” that is a bit above current supply, which can adjust over a few hours to the true cap, would make a huge difference. It would have saved rsETH depositors $200m today
This also raises an interesting point: asset issuers should want this too. If you are an asset issuer who issues receipt tokens which have a redemption delay, then you actually aren’t worried about a hacker redeeming with you. But you need possible exits to be as small as possible while not impeding normal users. High supply caps need to be seen as a liability, rather than a sign of stature.

MegaVault Bootstrapping Program is now complete.
In 2 weeks, we bootstrapped $7.5M+ $USDm into MegaVault.
Thank you to everyone who deposited early and trusted us from day 1.
With the bootstrapping phase wrapped, the points campaign is now paused.
The next season starts once Avon Markets is live and more MegaETH apps are online to support sustained borrow-side activity.
Stay tuned.

RWAs are far enough onchain that tokenization isn’t the main blocker anymore.
The blocker is market structure: can you keep credit facilities isolated, keep their rules intact, and still let borrowers clear as one market?
That is what Avon is designed for.
- Strategies (credit facilities) define the rules and risk boundaries.
- The order book coordinates execution across eligible facilities.
- Liquidation is enforced through competitive auctions, with partial liquidation as the fallback path.

Introducing the MegaVault Bootstrapping Program!
MegaVault is the native yield layer for $USDM: Deposit once, earn passively.
Early MegaVault depositors get a 3x Avon points boost during the bootstrap phase.
MegaVault starts day one conservative, then expands allocations as new strategies go live.
Avon Markets go live later this week. Additional ecosystem points programs follow as they roll out.
Note: Avon Points will show shortly. Tracking is already set up via @merkl_xyz.

RWAs need real use than just tokenization into ERC20. This needs shift to real usage onchain with realtime credit liquidity with custom mandates

Avon is going live on @MegaETH. RWAs are coming onchain, and most of the discussion still focuses on tokenization. But tokenization isn’t what’s missing anymore. What’s missing is the onchain credit market. We built money markets. We still haven’t built credit markets.

Deployment detected for @avon_xyz Avon is the first real-time credit layer and creators of MegaVault. MegaVault uses risk-isolated strategies, shared CLOB matching, and transparent rates to turn idle $USDm into $USDmY; its yield-bearing counterpart,

This is the gap Avon is building for.
Deposits aren’t the bottleneck. Stablecoins have already created a large and growing supply base.
The harder problem is making borrower demand legible and financeable onchain.
That means clear risk isolation, explicit terms, and pricing that can adjust continuously without forcing everything into pooled exposure.
Avon separates risk definition from coordination. Individual strategies define underwriting constraints and liquidation rules in isolation, while a shared order book coordinates matching across them.
Borrowers interact with a unified market without mixing risk. Lenders can underwrite specific exposures without relying on opaque aggregation.
This is infrastructure built for a market where borrower diversity matters more than squeezing utilization in the short term.
Stablecoins have already created the lenders. The open question is whether borrow demand can catch up to supply.

We’re excited to share @mtrkr_xyz has integrated MegaVault.
Users can now deposit $USDM directly into MegaVault from the MTRKR frontend, turning idle USDm into productive, composable liquidity across MegaETH.
The flywheel is forming. MegaVault is MegaETH’s economic engine.
