Discovered this Iranian typeface a couple of weeks ago. It's called Ekhtiar, and is based on the Persian Ta'liq script, the precursor to Nasta'liq.
Finally managed to buy it today from the Iranian type foundry Maryamsoft.
Easily one of my favorite font purchases.

"Always take sides" is excellent advice, against common whining about "campism", etc. because taking sides tests theory.
If you pick wrong, the sting of failure should drive self-critique and improvement. Picking right builds confidence.

99.9% of the world interprets Marx the same way. There are quite literally billions of Marxist on the planet all saying the same things. If you’re part of a special club of like 12 dudes that has a different reading of Marx than 99.9% of the world you might just be illiterate.

What these nerds don't consider is that the implication of "communism has never been tried ever in any shape or form" is that their version of communism is ahistorical and fantastical and will never be tried. Reality is gritty - deal with the countries communists actually made.
