@SPXSatoshi I’ve been having this thought recently, and I’ve floated across the idea of buying a rental property all cash in another state, making it rentable and renting it out. It’d pay about the same maybe a little more. Idk.

Put $100k in $QQQI and make $859 a month from dividends. Take a 50% loan for $50k at a 4.5% rate. Pay the loan back with the dividends. Use the $50k to buy growth stocks, start a business, or Bitcoin. Doesn’t require any credit checks.

@savageinvests That’s false many especially single stock ones have just dealt with massive corrections on the underlying. At the end of the day it comes down to strategy. Some funds are cash grabs meant to implode.

As a 19 year old with decades of investing ahead, is there any reason for me to own $SCHD? I've seen people go back and forth on this. The way I see it you are essentially getting lower volatility but also lower returns vs something like $QQQ Seems like this isn't worth it given my time horizon, but I'm open to being convinced otherwise.
