@LttleGel @BrianAtlas Did you make a video like this before you found each other though? Do you have an attitude like hers? That’s the point.
English

@BrianAtlas But, why can't she shoot for men that aren't most? My husband is taller than 85% of men, he makes more than 75% of the population, he runs his own business, has a great family, wasn't previously married, didn't have kids.
I'm glad I didn't settle for most either.

@WhiteWhaleLabs Huge loss for Solana perps as a whole. Drift really screwed the pooch… damn.

Part of my journey of grounding myself is returning to what I'm good at. The thing that has made me the most money in this space.
I'm back on Hyperliquid.
Before 10/10 I had over a 90% success rate. I've learned many valuable lessons since then. Adapted new risk management strategies. Rebuilt my confidence.
I've spun up entirely new addresses. I will never make them public. I will never post anything specific (positions, PnL cards - anything that could give a clue as to what my addresses are). Being observed was not healthy for my trading.
I tried to deny myself a return to being a trader. Spent countless days/weeks/months searching for something different.
A few important rules I'm carrying forward:
1. Never let crowd-think overpower your well-earned intuition / conviction.
2. Assume "10/10 or worse" when deploying your risk management strategy.
and perhaps the most important one
3. You don't have to reach your financial goals in one season. One bull market. A single financial quarter.
Looking back, the majority of my "100M PnL Goal" I had set for myself I realized that 98% of that was achieved in a fourth month time frame.
Which is absolutely insane. And completely unnecessary.
Now, my goals are different. I care less about an arbitrary number and more about an amount that secures a comfortable - but not lavish - life for myself and my family.
My crypto financial instruments are split into two parts:
Part A: Buy BTC spot and chill. Cold storage. Not allowed to touch it for any purpose. No wrapping it and throwing it into a lending pool. No keeping it on a CEX. Now allowed to touch it for any reason whatsoever.
Part B: Resume doing what I'm good at. On a scale and pace that doesn't scream "insanity". This is walking around money. This scratches the need I have to "be productive".
It's a mindset shift. Last year I didn't really close any positions that weren't six or seven figure profit. But in the last couple of weeks I've been back at it I've closed several 4 & 5 figure profit positions. And more importantly maintained a 100% success rate.
And MOST importantly I'm at peace. No pressure to make it all at once. No incessant chart watching, worrying about my positions. No pressure of knowing all of CT is watching my positions.
I'm happy to be home.

we spent a lot of time looking at the data the last two weeks and wanted to do our part in helping Phoenix users that lost trading balances on Drift
we unfortunately can't help everyone but hopefully this helps soften the hurt for impacted members of our and the broader Solana community
Phoenix@PhoenixTrade
The past two weeks have been tough for the Solana trading community. Some Phoenix users were directly impacted by the recent events on Drift. When our community is hurt, it matters to us. Today, we matched losses for eligible users, up to $5,000 each.
English

.@PhoenixTrade is a bet on Solana as a whole.
the highest level of composability within the ecosystem and zero compromise on execution, with every piece living entirely on Solana.
we are not doing this because it's easy, we're doing this because we believe in solving complicated engineering challenges both at the product and infrastructure level.
the spreads are tighter than anywhere else on-chain with the performance to back it up.
Solana traders are getting better fills, faster than they ever have before.
@minnus does a good job breaking down some of the design choices and composability advantages of Phoenix.
Rising.

@RealCandaceO @KimDotcom Claiming macron is better looking than Candace may be the single craziest element of all the crazy things in that rambling mess.

@metadev5 @DriftProtocol @cindyleowtt @davijlu We’ll see. Hopefully they’re taking time to cook up a full recovery plan.
English

Let's be clear about what @DriftProtocol did:
✗ Cooperated without proper vetting
✗ Weeks of silence on a security issue
✗ No apology to users whose funds were at risk
✗ Released a nothing burger "interim update"
But @cindyleowtt and @davijlu never miss a conference panel. Never miss a chance to call themselves the Hyperliquid of Solana.
A protocol is only as trustworthy as how it behaves in its worst moments.
This is Drift's worst moment. Now you know.
From @cindyleowtt ( She deleted that tweet )
"Trust is built during crisis moments"
Big LOSE for @solana Defi Summer, she destroyed the ecosystem trust.

Drift@DriftProtocol
Interim Update We recognize the impact this has had across our users and the builders who have integrated with us - many of whom rely on Drift as core infrastructure. We’re actively working on next steps and will share more once details are finalized.

@KeruboSk She bought $40 of Skittles on principle alone and I respect every single decision that led to that moment. The company would take $40 from her paycheck without blinking she returned the energy. That's not impulse buying. That's financial philosophy. 😭
English

Y’all…I’m traveling with a coworker.
Every day the company gives u a $100 food stipend.
We ate the hotel breakfast, Jack In The Box, salads, & had smoothies.
We both had about $40 left
She said “I gotta find something to spend this $40 on”
I said “Girl, we just ate, u don’t need anything. Just let that $40 ride”
She said “Who tf are u that $40 don’t mean anything to u?!?! If I owed them $40 they would take the shit out of my check.”
She bought $40 of skittles
😂😂😂 I’m dying!!

@Simplesimonhuh @Slackonbothsydz Just saying slavery or death is a choice. I'm glad my ancestors chose slavery, or I wouldn't be here.
English

@saxthefiver @Slackonbothsydz So everyone under slavery should’ve died?
English

@Simplesimonhuh @Slackonbothsydz It was a choice, though. Death was the alternative. Freedom or death. That was the choice.
English

@Slackonbothsydz Real niggas stopped fucking eoth him after the slavery was a choice shit.
He then went on to make white lives matter merch and dress in a black klan outfit.
You’re weak as shit if you still rock with him as a Black person after all of that
English

This is sick.. social engineering has gotten insane. They deposited a million into their own vault and then used the most shady tactics ever to get the compromise accomplished. Yikes.
