Don be surprised when a famous Quran recitor is actually a hypocrite! He’s not the first nor the last..the Khawarij and Daesh can be proud of what he recited in his song! The Holy Prophet (s) famously said: ‘How many a reciter of the Qur’an, while the Qur’an curses him.” (Mustadrak Al-Wasa’il, 4/249) Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have said: ‘A reciter who reads the Qur’an in order to gain favor with rulers and elevate himself over people — he is among the people of the Hell. And a reciter who reads the Qur’an, memorises its letters but neglects its limits (and laws) — he is also among the people of the Fire.’ (Al-Khisal p.143) Don’t listen to his recitations.

There’s no official U.S. government count of religious conversions. Right after 9/11, CAIR’s chairman publicly stated ~34,000 Americans converted in the months following (reported Nov 2001 in Arab media like Ukaz). Contemporary estimates put annual conversions at 20-25k both before and after. Pew surveys show conversions account for ~23% of today’s U.S. Muslim adults, but the population’s growth since 2001 (roughly 2M to ~4.5M) has been driven mainly by immigration and births.

Most people don’t realize that the Muslim population in America more than doubled after 9-11. Our government responded to 9-11 by mass importing the Arab world into our country. National suicide. No other term to describe it.
